I am in a confused state of mind...I got PPR last to last week and submitted my paasport via VFS to NDVO on 2 Mar and the status on file showed "Approved".

I am still waiting for the passport to come back but the status on the CIC account has changed to "Not Started".

I am a bit worried...Can someone kindly advice...Is the an issue?

As you can see from my signature, I submitted my PP on 22nd March, still have not received it back.

Hi Friends,

Was it mentioned in your PPR letter to submit your passports to NDVO through VFS? I am in Canada and I got my letter to submit to CPC Ottawa office. But my spouse is in India and there was nothing mentioned about VFS office. Instead, they mentioned like below-

• If you do not have a mailing address in Canada or the U.S.A, please send an email to us at CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca so that we can send you instructions for submitting your documents to a visa office which is the most convenient for you. Please note that our office will not return passports to an address outside North America.

I already sent an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca before 3 weeks. There is no reply yet.

I already sent a reminder email to CPC Ottawa 1 week back. If i call CIC, they are saying to wait. Unfortunately there is no direct phone number to CPC Ottawa office.

i sent email to my LVO -Newyork and they also contacted Ottawa office to transfer my file to them .

I have not much luck with CSE, they have not replied ever.
Try calling them.

NDVO takes a lot of time to just return the passport. I sent mine on 29th Feb and still nothing.

I am from Bangalore. I know people who have send it on the same day and got the stamped PP back. Only difference is that I opted for courier service for my PP return.

Out of curiosity.. what all ways can you send the passports to NDVO via VFS....?

VFS is the recommended one. Please do not opt for couriering your PP back. You can also hand deliver your PP by some friend with authorization letter.
