Passport Submission at Canadian Embassy Abu Dhabi

Finally my passport is with ARAMEX, I hope to receive it by today. it took exactly 36 days from the day I submitted it on 3rd of August. Good luck for you all.

Do you know if the Aramex update happened in the morning or afternoon? Are you in UAE?

Today is 42 days since I submitted my PP to ADH embassy and no news. Anyone in the same situation as me, planning to visit the embassy coming Wednesday. I wouldent be so worried if my tickets were not booked for 11th of this month.

Back in June under Express Entry someone was stamped in under 7 days!

Do you think this is because they were not busy with student visas or the wait time differs if you are a 2014 applicant or an Express Entry applicant?

Yep they are now , back in June students didn't have yet their grades to start processing the papers. even FSW had been doing it in less than 10 days

Hi rodroye, tomorrow completes 36 days for me, my application is from Kuwait, I have also a flight on the 11th that I'm still hoping to catch.
I asked a friend to go to the embassy last thursday and she submitted a request with my plane ticket at the main reception, they said they will deliver it to immigration and they should email me, no response till now. Also no response to the original CIC inquiry sent 10 days ago.
I hope our passports will be sent by tomorrow in order to be delivered on time. I called Aramex and said they should do a next day delivery whenever the passports are dispatched..

Received by ARAMEX on Sep 3

Email the LVO on Sep 1 that I have not received passport despite its more than 4 weeks

Is there any Quebec applicant here waiting for passport return from Abu Dhabi VO.
I submitted my passport through VFS Qatar on August 23. in the letter they mentioned processing time 10 workings days + (1 to 3 days courier ). Is there anyone facing the same with delay after 10 working days. because i see some of the applicants here in their letter was mentioned 4 weeks.

it is now minimum 4 weeks , sometimes 5 or 6 weeks

Galaxo2001 you should be patient buddy, mine still didn't arrive after 5 weeks + 2 days ! Kuwait applicant also...
