Apply for work permit to canada in Abu Dhabi through VFS Global

Hi

I already submitted my application for work permit to Canada through VFS global office in Abu Dhabi
having all requirements and forms.

Including LMO
Employment offer
(CAQ) Quebec certificate of acceptance

Application Status:
------------------
Application Submitted on 24-Aug-2013 at VFS Global in Abu Dhabi.
Submitted by Aramex to Canada embassy in Abu Dhabi at 25-Aug-2013

Until now its almost 2 months and there's no response from canada embassy of abu dhabi....

Can anyone help me ... how long it will take i hear that it will take 4 - 6 months, but that its too much i dont know if the employer can wait that much time, because employer spent 4 month before submission to got the approval for LMO and QAC.

I applied in June for a Work Permit to Abu Dhabi, and still I didnt hear anything back. It's getting really frustrating and depressing.
I am a lebanese residing in Qatar, and I sent my application through Aramex on the 16th of June.

The average processing times are 4-6 months according to their website http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/uae-eau/visas/processing-traitement.aspx

This 4-6 months is the normal processing time, we need to factor a delay time caused by the Foreign Workers Strike that ended 2 months ago. That definitely created a backlog.

I will be 6 months in 2 days. I will give it 2 extra months before I kill myself
