i called cic an hour ago, got confirmation that my visa got approved on 9th of december, and will get it by the end of the week
they are doing final touch ups

so it is coming soon

Hi Artak-g. When you received your passport request, did they specify how much time you have to send your passport to Ottawa (e.g., 30 days, 60 days) ?

If anyone else at this forum would like to share this info, I would greatly appreciate.

Just wondering since I work shifts in the field for 3 weeks straight and don't want to miss out.

usually they are asking for 30 days
in some cases might ask for 60

I got mine back last week
it took me 20 days

by the way got landed yesterday
no problem at border at all
they need passports with visa
both copies of COPR, and all your work permits, visitor permits, and might ask for proof of address, if in your drivers license is your current address that should be fine

They got my passport on Dec 17. I have a question. I have a plan to go to India on March 6th. I checked pr card processing time is 78 days.Can I just use this visa and do border cross after I come back from India? what is its validity? Or should I do border cross now and wait for pr card??
