PASSPORT RETURNING TIME FROM CPC-Ottawa (SEPT.,OCT.&NOV.2015)PNP PR

Do they send passport request to email or regular mail?

they sent me an email on 23th of november

They got my passport on Dec 17. I have a question. I have a plan to go to India on March 6th. I checked pr card processing time is 78 days.Can I just use this visa and do border cross after I come back from India? what is its validity? Or should I do border cross now and wait for pr card??

You can use that visa, if validity is ok
mine was for very short time
make sure your medical is not expiring before you are getting back to Canada

but if there is nothing emergency i would suggest to get landed , get the PR card then plan your trip

my case: i had two COPR one was with my PICTURE

when i went for landing at border

officer asked some question

then he did some work at computer

then come back again and ask two question from COPR 1. charged any crime/refused admission or required to leave Canada 2. have any dependants other than listed below.

if yes write yes and your initial sign if no write no and with your initial sign = my answer was no for both and initial sign

then he took both COPR and bring again and give me one COPR copy which has no PICTURE and said congers now you are CANADA PR holder

i found in COPR he wrote : become PR at : XXXXXX become PR on : 2015/12/XXXX
i also found he sign with some digit example: 12345 and dates

he also said to me change your sin/health card/ he also said your PR will arrive by 70 days.


but problem is when i went to service Canada for new sin they said CIC dint update yet

so i am ver upset and stress what happen

today i called cic they said they will send messages to SK border

so please advise me i in stress

my visa validity was exactly matching with my medical expiration,
march 16

Thanks for sharing. My medical will expire in march too. I guess i have to wait for pr card. Processing time is 85 days .... long wait again

Do you guys get a email notice from CIC OR does this reflect on Mycic account? I use a immigration consultant and they just give me a tracking number. I am an inland applicant.

If you are inland...
When you sent your passports to Ottawa, did you include an empty envelope with your address as receiver?
you supposed to do that and the envelope must be express post and in that envelope there is trucking number something like MW445691111CA and you can track it in Canada post website

Call your representative
he he/she might done that and will have the tracking numbers to and from CPC Ottawa
that way you will know when they got your passports and when they are sending it back
