Passport Pick up Date

hello fellow members,

I applied my first passport and paid extra for the express option as I have a flight this weekend. They gave me a pickup date of tomorrow at 10am. Shall I just show up at their doorstep after 10 and will it be ready? I am asking because I will have to take an extended lunch break to go get it and if they say I would need to wait another xxxxx minutes or something, it wont work out.

How has your experience been if anyone else applied for express passport and was told it would be ready at a certain day on a certain time. Was it ready for you when you went?

Also, do they tell you if its ready if I can call them and ask before going?

I did. Applied on 6Dec and was asked to pick up at 10am 7Dec. I went at 9.45am and it was ready for pickup.
