Many people wait 2-3 months after ppr... better be patient before got the passport back

Yea I get that but as per the tracker it was taking about 30/45 days so I planned around that. Which now I know it was a mistake.

this is what they replied to me earlier this week:
"The office that processes the passports and visas is currently working with limited staff. Delays are to be expected. We cannot comment on a timeline."

I got something similar ... they are delays for 1 year almost..

The "start praying" part got me! lol... my passport delivered on December 21st, so 51 days now and still waiting... multiple phone calls to the call center, same be patience response, limited start due to covid. so yeah prayer and patience!

Hi, my wife needs to travel to India to attend her only sister’s marriage in a month’s time. But both ours passports are with CIC- Ottawa since 21st December. Can I raise a web form to have them stamped and sent back urgently? If I raise one such request what are the chances they don’t stamp our passports and send them back?

This happened to us in June 2020. We got PPR in March the waited 3 months, we did not ask for the passports, but they just returned them to us without COPR or Visa stamps.

Same dates and sentiments here. I don't get why would they request the passports if they don't have the bandwidth. What number did you call on? Also what e-mail did you follow up on?

But why would you do this when you don't even have the COPR? Mine was delivered on 12/7 and it's not even approved yet. I'm considering withdrawing the application but then who knows how long that will take. It took them one month to reply a web form inquiry.

Hello everyone?
nothing related to PPR but have some queries if someone can help.
I have No surname on my passport and have full name in first name section while applying for my PGWP I entered LNU(last name unknown) In the last name section because it wouldnt validate without it. SO Just Curious if this is gonna cause any issue because now i see LNU as my last name in the application. P
PLEASE HELP.
