I am a mix marriage too.. I am a Chinese Canadian and my wife is an Arab, Tunisian.. is a mix marriage more problem? ok. i am from B.C. lots of mix marriage here. why it's a big deal?

Unfortenately I am amongst the fiew people which their Ecas isnt updated !!!!! It stopped on sponsor approval !!! my PR file was transferred to BVC paris on April 25 and I was been asked to send new medical (since it expired) a record of what I ve been doing since 2013 and police certif from tunisia. Also I sent them an email on July they replied that an interview needs to be done without providing the date !!!! It's been almost a month now ! Im worried bout when will they sent me the invitation for the interview ( any ideas ? ) also I forgot to mention that we are both from Tunisia and my husband got his canadian nationality on May 2015.

It's not a big deal to have mix marriage sometimes when it's mix they intend to take longer to see if the relationship is genuine but not all of them just some and it can happen to non mix marriage it depends on the vo inshallah good

Ever tried to ask your MP? I contacted my local MP during my delayed CPC process..then i got SA in two weeks. Last week my MP office called if i needed more inquiry. I told them after the 8 month wait for sure.

ask your husband to contact his local MP and find out what the heck is going on?
I spoke to my own MP, not the assistance in person about this.
She said she gonna talk to the Minister about this... who knows.. dont trust the politician. I live in a small redneck town.. lol. people dont trust NDPs.. haha. first time we had a NDP MP.

I am sorry. just checked my Ecas. same.. where are you in Canada btw? I am from Vancouver Island, B.C. it's so nice out there this summer. maybe go out and not think about this. this is a very cruel process. everyone knows it.
