Thanks RYIT.

Even though I'm a Canadian Citizen living in Canada for more than 25 years sponsoring my wife? How usefull is this info for them?

Anyways, good to know that I have to fill this with my info as well!

Cheers

EDIT: What if My travels were to Algeria (my country of origin) ? Should I mention them? I live in Montreal.

2- List all trips you, and if applicable, your family members have taken outside your country of origin or of residence in the last ten years...

I was born in Canada and have lived here my entire life and still had to fill out the form with my travel info. I am not sure why they require the info.

You stated you have been living in Canada for 25 years (Montreal) therefore you have to list your trips to Algeria. The form says your country of origin OR of residence.

I guess its not very clear..... personally I would rather be proactive then reactive so I would list the trips to Algeria as well. If they need them then they will have them and if they don't need them then they can just ignore them. At least time won't be wasted by them sending an additional request for you to resend your trips to Algeria. (That's just what I would do.....)

Still waiting. Haven't heard from Paris since they requested a police certificate back in February.

Have you ever requested your GCMS notes to see where they are at with your file?

As RYIT said, I am one of the first applicants contacted by Paris VO in this small group...as well as MissRepresentation, but I have not heard from them since I sent the requested info on March 18th. Well, a few days ago, I contacted them through the CIC automatic form and two days later I got an email saying that my application is in process and it is taking its normal course….and if they need extra docs or info, they will contacted me…JUST THAT.

So, I have nothing to do, but to keep on waiting!!!

i will keep you posted guys…GOOD LUCK!!!

Oh MissRepresentation are you French? If you are not or are never lived in France, you may not know about the month of May. Between all the holidays and week ends and "bridges" ( a French invention to have day off between a holidays and the week end that follows, even if it starts 2 days later) they must be no more than 10 working days left...so don't be too optimistic about any results in May...on my side I would be more than happy to see something happening but in May and August , France becomes like dead zone and foreigne ambassies follows so... :-X

Haha, no, I'm definitely not optimistic, but I thought that receiving the case notes should take 30 days no matter what?

You are correct. The case notes take 30 days to receive no matter what. It is not the visa office abroad that processes them, it is a specific department dedicated to notes ( I am not sure where they are located)

Just received an e-mail from Paris VO requesting Travel list (they said see form attached but no attachment in the e-mail...). I guess this means IMM5562. They also ask for CSQ, I should receive it soon since payment was processed last week.

I'm going to send them both by e-mail asap.

For IMM5562, the sponsored(my wife) fills their travel information but the form asks (in section b.)) for travel info of the spouse (in this case me). Should I list all my travel info even though I'm the sponsor?

Thanks

P.S. Does this mean things are moving well? Usually how long before we get PPR?
P.P.S. Please update spreadsheet in additional docs requested column.
hi the supplementary travel history need to filled only by the sponsored person which is you , the sponsor doesnt need to fill his travel history , under the spouse or common law column you write N/A .

if you read the form accurately it says : the principal applicant need to fill this form .

I just relooked at this form and forja is 100% correct, which means that I personally filled mine out incorrectly. My apologies for giving you the wrong advice.

Uggggh now I hope me filling this out incorrectly will not slow down the processing of my application!

Vera16, I know what BRIDGES are...specially because we have BRIDGES in Spain too. But, according to the information provided on the website of the Canadian Embassy in France, these are their holidays:

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/france/offices-bureaux/holidays-conges.aspx?lang=eng

Hope it is true!!! If they are not lying, there are not too many holidays to make BRIDGES with ;) Embassies never stop working on Summer time. I know that because one of my brothers works for a Spanish Embassy in an European country.

Ho that's nice to know SPAIN :). I always heard saying that ambassy has both holidays (the one from it country and the one from the country where it is).
So that means not too much days out in May and real chances to have news or at least knowing they are still working on our files.
Good because I received my husband birth certificat and I will send it to Paris by e-mail this evening.
Thanks Spain for your info!
But you know I may be someone who makes fun of things by exagerating them a little bit...and Ok... looking at the faces of my sons and husband who are reading this mail, lets say also I am... LOL
Lets say it is my way of get out my stress :P or maybe it is my lack of patience :D
My only excuse : 3 teenagers asking me almost every days if they will start school in Canada next year!
Oups! I got another exuse...I am still a bit French and have their ironical sens of humor...LOL

LOL, Ok Vera16…Take for granted that your kids will start school in Canada next year…GOOD LUCK.

So I sent the birth certificat to Paris VO and join the receipt for the visa just to underline I was sure I already sent it , meaning they lost it...You know, nicely but kind of "I am not stupid, I know what happened"
It was around 9 am. At 11 am I received an e-mail from Paris stating that the fees I paid where not the same and that now I had to pay the FDRP... :-\
Humm...I kind of feel really stupid...
So I paid the fee, sent the receipt to Mississauga and a copy to Paris with some apologies and thanks for contacting me back so fast ;D
Yes, because that's the good news (not that I am stupid) but look at the timing before Paris VO to answer my e-mail : 2 hours ! Yes it does happen!!!
It just made my day...and hopefully my mistake won't delay too much our application

Hello guys i am.new on this thread, just learnt that my visa office is paris.. I called cic and they informwd me that..

Does paris vo send AOR? Or they directly ask for MEdical request after PER?

And if they do send AOR what documents do they ask for?

Thanks a lot :)

Welcome to the group V2014!
Nobody seems to have received AOR2 those past days but Ryit, Missmo and I (December applicants) all had additional documents requested. That's the way we were informed they had begin to work on our applications. Same for Spain (November app.) and Missrepresentation (October app).
And by the way AOR is just an aknolegment they had received your application and will start working on it. Documents are asked only if missing or postdated.
Medical is asked only if it wasn't done upfront. Did you do it yet?
Please share your experience, sometime something you think has no importance can be usefull for someone else... :)
