Hi I want to apply for parent’s Super visa, I want to inquire about the health insurance. Does anyone knows if I needs to make upfront payment for whole year or can I have monthly payment plan to get the visa. CIC website says have to buy 1 year insurance in advance. Can someone please clarify on it?

The insurance agent told me that it is cheaper to pay the whole 1 year premium than the monthly, and if the app was denied, you can get full refund on the insurance or if your parents decide to leave early, you can get a partial refund.
