Parents super visa finances

I am applying super visa for my parents. In super visa online application rationally I should declare that they will stay in Canada more than 6 month, for example 8 month. But I am not sure how much money is required to show to support their stay during 8 month. I am wondering to answer the question " How much money do you have for your stay in Canada? in Canadian Dollar" what will be a good answer for 8 month? I'd appreciate it if someone could help me .

there is no fixed amount. What savings they actually have should be what they provide. If you transfer an amount to their account right now that doesn’t help either.

Thank you for your reply. You are right. They will annonce their saving. But in the invitation letter I wanna to mention that all of their expences during their stay will be on me. And i need to know how much saving should I have to seem enough for their 8 month stay? I need to know a rough number to decide if i do not have such amont of money in my saving , then change the application to visitor visa with a stay length of 2 , 3 month instead of super visa.
