Its been 2 years now since they have our passports does anybody has idea why they r taking that long

Hello, Hope you get your Visa soon. I had one question. They have your passport for two years ?? :O. It's strange, I mean you can't travel anywhere in the world for 2 years or what?

you are in same boat as us, me harsjit, helping canadian we all are waiting for even remedical to be done . atleast you are one step ahed with remedical being done. you said you have 3 dependent , what are their age were, are they under 22 when you applied ? and for remedical did they asked everyone remedical. what i am trying to see if you have same issue like us where depandent age was more thne 22 when applied for family sponsership and they are type B dependent who is studing as fulltime student. as thats what is comon in all of us and they are holding our file for process. have you applied for GCMS notes ever ?

its the truth of this ugly process they have our passport with them for 2 years now.

Thank you for your reply. Oh no that will become a very big problem if they do the same for me because I am a student in Germany( I am a Pakistani living there) and I would need my passport. I can't give for 2 years. By the way my sister sponsored my parents ( and me as dependent child as I was 20 years old at that time). Please till me what should I do when this situation comes for me? Can I tell them about my issue and they can keep the passport for less time?Thanks.

Don't worry they realized their mistake now so they are not requesting the passport upfront now till they r done it was for 2011 mass requests they did for medical and passports submit and then they went on strike and it endup biggrr mess so ppl like us here still waiting for news some have dependent over age 22 soe with police back ground so still waiting for the news
