I dnt have my dad certificate it can be problem? plz tell if I not send my parents birthcertificate?

You are still confused about that? you don't need their birth certificate - their passport is proof of birth, they simply need to confirm if sponsor is child of parents, and this headache is more with LVO, not with Ottawa

My parents application was filed in 2009. The file was transferred to London-UK visa office for further processing in Jan 2014. I have not heard from London office as of yet and its been 8 months already.

Any applicant is from London visa office? Any progress on the file? I have not rec'd any med or pcc request.

Thanks

nothing, i have ordered the gcms notes, will get it by next week but i mentioned earlier that the VO London replied to my MP that it will take several months before they start reviewing.

I live in Toronto, still have not received any note from CIC office regarding additional documents. This cannot be postal delays but something really weird. How many more are there like me who applied in 2010 and have not received any documentation request yet?

Did you receive the request for additional documents yet? I haven't received any, still waiting.

1. Yes, I have done it. My wife is the sponsor for her mother. I am co-sponsor and representative.

2. Is it possible to get a marriage certificate from the registry office in the jurisdiction where they were married? If this is not possible, I would suggest writing a note to explain the absence of a marriage certificate. Maybe someone else has some more useful suggestions.

Hi friends!

I am writing an observation. I noticed from among those asking questions and making comments here that there were those who had filed petitions for their parents as early as 2008 and that their applications have not been fully approved or visa had been issued for their parents up to now after long six years.

When CIC halted or suspended accepting petitions in 2012 for parents one of the principal reasons they said was because the waiting period had gone so long and that they want to improve the whole program so it will be sustainable. They made the projection that under the new program processing will be just 5 years and this will even become shorter in the years to follow. This is because more visas will be issued for those who submitted prior to the pause and that less applications will be accepted in the coming years just like the quota of 5000 they set in 2014.Now I checked on the latest processing times and found out that it went even longer. If you are from the Philippines, the waiting period there is 10 years. For other some regular countries, the waiting period is no different. Suffice it to say that after CIC has suspended the acceptance of petitions for 2 years; made the requirements very prohibitive in 2014, the processing and issuance of visas for parents and grandparents have not changed but even became much slower.

I am wondering whether the situation will still improve. Or everything is just all rhetoric and that parents and grandparents are at the bottom of priorities. I shall appreciate hearing other opinions on the matter. Thanks.

Hi
If we don't fill out the form use a representative, is it ok or not? Or we are necessary to fill out this form? I just verify to this point.
Do u have any dependent in ur file? if ur dependent's under 22 when u submit application, so my question is did u send education document record of dependent along with ur application or wait they request them?
Thank you for help and response
