Hi All,

Yesterday I rec'd a letter from CIC stating that I am eligible to sponsor my parents, and the application is approved for sponsorship (Part 1). However, the LVO should be ISB, but the application is sent to London Visa office. I called them and they told me that they are routing ISB applications to London to reduce the backlog. I am not sure if it will take longer time or less time for my mother to go through the next part of sponsorship? Anyone had same issue?

A lot of Pakistan applications are now being dealt with London and Paris offices.
These offices are at least, better in correspondence than CHC Islamabad.
Hopefully things will be speedier......

hi..today we got emal for remeds.. but we didnt recieve any request for new PCC or other documents..also we didnt recieve our passports back..
So..should we gor to physicians for remeds directly or wait for our passports(i dnt think they will send)..
there is no information in the email regarding request of any oyher documents or pcc..
pls reply??

Book an appointment right away because in Hyd when I booked my appointment, I got it roughly in a month's time. Also I think they accept PAN card, Aadhar card, Voter Id card but no driving licence for identity proof but this is what it was in April 2013 but there may be some changes now.

Is anybody get decision made after medical expires or medical got extend.please reply.is any time frame to do a mp enquiry.my mp told me they can enquiry in 3 months after the previous one.

Is there an email address for case specific inquiry for LVO Islamabad? I know there is a online form for that purpose but just wondering is that it?

They don't send PP back for all remeds, there was another user "sakamath" here who git it done w/o passports return. There are other ID options in India but DMP would have previous record so get it done ASAP
They don't ask for re-PCC if not necessary

congrats buddy, get your remedical done , it usually take 2-3 months after remeds to get decision made.

BTW if you are in Delhi DO NOT go to Maxx for medicals, they are money hungry tards and they will delay your medicals beyond your wildest imagination to squeeze every penny out of you. go to a govt hospital

yeah that's it for online case specific inquiry. i have also sent an inquiry a week ago but they did't answer it still waiting they said if in 15 days we got any email reply its okay otherwise wait.......

We have the right to appeal, anyone know how it works. Is there any other way to sponsor my parents

Could you give more details please? What's your timeline? Did you meet the income requirements at the time you sent the application to Mississauga? Did Mississauga approve your sponsorship application before transferring the file to Vienna? Did your income decrease at some point during the application processing?

Hi all,

I am so happy today. My mom got her visa today. The ECAS still shows In process. She got the passport and that is how I find out.
Applied April 2009
Meds done June 2013
ECAS status in process since Dec. 9, 2013 (Still showing the same)
Visa issued January 27, 2014
Visa valid until the end of June 2014

I was reading everyone's posts and comments. My experience is that if they show Medicals received on your ECAS, it means you passed the meds
New Delhi called my mom about 2 weeks ago to get her Indian address and that is all. It was because on ECAS it shows only my Canadian address.

I remember checking the status every night and every morning. I wish everyone unite with their families soon and share their good news like me. All the best to all
