Hi, could you please share more info. Which month in 2010 did your sister file the application? It sounds strange that she got additional documents request in May... as many of us received this request only in August...
Which month did your sister send the complete package to Mississauga & when did she receive a letter from them about file completeness?

In answer to your question - it can take upto a few months for Mississauga to process your file and make a decision.




They have started working on application received until May 2010.

Yes, but mostly all of us who sent the applications in December 2009 - May 2010 received the documents request in the beginning of August.

Hi, I got call from MP office today. He told me that ND visa office replied his call yesterday and informed that they are going to start background check on our file.....so anyone have any idea, how long will they take to do that?

User when are ur medical is going to be expired....I've heard few ppl got visas just before getting meds expiry date....this gives me some hope as ours were done in Nov....anyways, ur approaching Sep.13...hp u get DM soon.
