Any updates about letter of confirmation from Mississauga about the application being complete?

Hi,

Today i got GCMS notes and came to know that after medical passed no progress has happened to my case in last 5 Months.
All criminality , Security and Eligibility not started yet and no due date as well.
Whats the hell is going on, Why NDVO works so slow.

No news of any family getting visa

I haven't seen many forum members posting the receipt of visa in the last 4-5 months. May be , I said may be, NDVO will issue a bunch of visas in Oct -Dec.

Even i think so , As there will be so many families whose medical will gona expire in nov or dec ...so before that they will issue visa i think

We phoned CIC, the agent said that according to the info they had, the letter of confirmation from Mississauga is sent within 10 weeks from the date it was received in mail by them...

Hi everyone, congratulations to those who have been approved and to those waiting all I can say is that I am sure by now we have grown accustomed to that .

My application for my parents were submitted in May 2011 so I guess I have to wait a year more before CIC Mississauga sends me a request for additional information. I am just curious as to what they usually request at that time other than Option C printouts.

2. Application forms for Principal Applicant
3. Travel documents and passports
4. Proof of relationsip to Sponsor
5. Identity & Civil status documents
6. Proof of Dependent children to Principal Applicant
7. Photos

According to the CIC - yes, you have to maintain LICO till the day your parents receive visas, as the CIC can request the proof of LICO any time during the process.

Still awaiting first request for additional documents.(I guess I should expect it any time)
I'll like to know what additional documents they request. I also read about option C being requested,where & how is it requested ?

Any ideas how long it'll take once they request the documents to the grand finale (parents landing) from Delhi.

Once I submit the initial docs and they are satisfied,is there any more requirement from my end to send docs once the file moves to Delhi ? or Is it just parents turn to provide docs. (In short ,does my role ends after file moves to Delhi)

Appreciate the response in advance and eagerly waiting !

No, not these - these are from Parents Perspective and once your file ( if it goes to NDVO ) - expect the same paperwork again as they like to do stuff their own way

Just hope your file goes to CPP-O, NDVO is a hell office as some of us have experienced, keep ordering GCMS notes ( see my signature ) to keep on top as they delay/make mistakes

the additional document request letter looks different in 2013, the CIC added more stuff and modified it a bit, though the idea is the same.
