I filled that fields from the date they landed and to the date they are leaving. U can't able to fill with letters other than digits as you have to validate and if u do it will give u error msg

Don't think its a good idea, unless you have Canadian Passport or Application - dont think they can let anyone in
Do yourself a favour and ask in New Delhi 2013 thread, some spouse apps were asked to come to Delhi to pick up passports and from what I read, it seems you can't just walk in

I need another help here with the form IMM0008 - question 10. For those people whose parents are currently in Canada, how did you answer question 10 - Current Country of Residence? I'm not too sure what to put on the "to" date. I wanted to put 'present', but the system wouldn't allow me. Shall I just put the expiry date on my parents' entry stamp or visitor record? Please help. Thanks!

Well I don't mind sending either ways but if I mail thru Canada expresspost will I have to put pobox address or courier address.

Most of previous applicants sent thru expresspost/regd.post

And also for return mailing address labels I am only submitting my address in Canada... Wht do u think?

Honestly I am confused as I do not know whether there will be any problem to send the package by carrier to the carrier address provided on-line, as both in the letter and the checklist they ask to send to the PO box...

At what point UCI is assigned and what to put on in IMM 0008?

It's a Client #. Do not include it if you do not know. We left it blank.

Yes, we have found this info too. But they ask just for 2 labels - one in English, one in the official language of your country.

It's just the one that needs to be validated - IM008. We wrote "Present" in IMM 5669.
