Hi
I'll need advice from senior members once again since am in dilemma.

Background Info
I was 15+ years (in 2008) old when family sponsorship was started. I went to Canada on student visa in 2010 (student visa and study permit expiring in Apr 2014). I didn't submitted PP with parents in Jan since I was in school. As per response to enquiry from NDVO, they said they will request my PP when case gets to final staging and then they asked for it in June. Since I had summer off, I came India (which was a mistake and I realized later I could have sent my PP with somebody) submitted PP first week of July. I have my final year starting on 3rd Sept. Have sent bunch of emails and tried few phone calls to NDVO

Dilemma
After informing local MP about the situation and asked for assistance, he agreed to represent my situation to NDVO if I sign the consent form so he could represent me and the sponsor. If I do so am afraid they will just return my passport since I have valid visa.

Now I have option either to drop the semester and just wait or try to get my PP back and finish my studies.

Would appreciate some advise from my fellow friends here.

Good question, and from my experience - there is a possibility that they will do this unless you word it so that they can only give you status or time frame
Believe me, I have tried the same and my dilemma is very big ( I don't wanna share details ) but its one of those which can't get worse - simply asked Delhi how long will it take so we can decide on few things, and can't go to Indian Consulate to apply for new passport

I'd say leave it and miss the semester, why u wanna pay international student fees anyway

Don't think its a good idea, unless you have Canadian Passport or Application - dont think they can let anyone in
Do yourself a favour and ask in New Delhi 2013 thread, some spouse apps were asked to come to Delhi to pick up passports and from what I read, it seems you can't just walk in

I know most likely it would be in vain :(. But I feel so helpless (just like most of us here) so I just wanna give it a shot. I have heard many cases where they could not get in, most likely they won't let me in as well. But I have heard of some exceptional cases too.

I know it might just be a stupid move but I just wanna give it a shot for my satisfaction that I have tried everything lols. Hate this system soooo much

Let us know, if nothing works - start doing hindi dance songs like in the movies and squeeze in while the crowd looks ;D

Hi Kandel,
I am ashamed to say that this is the first time I have logged on for a while as we are now in Canada and busy sorting out our new lives but I was sad to see that you have not yet reached the end of the process. I hope that this will happen soon and that you will soon be reunited with your family as we are.

Hi all, I have a problem with my dad's signature. I forgot to mention to him that he should sign all the forms in black pen. Will this be a problem? Should I ask him to sign again with black pen and forward the originals back to me? Or did anyone sign the forms with blue pen and didn't have any issues? Please help.

Where is it written that the forms should be signed in black? I thought it shouldn't matter...

Yes, it's possible, and we did this way...

We applied to sponsor in 2008 April, didn't hear nothing for CIC.

My mother continued living in Canada, with several TRV extension, and finally they refused any mor extesion becasue she had already lived in Canada for 3 years on TRV. That would require her to leave Canada. Therefore, only way for her to remain in Canada would be then to apply for Humanatarian and Compassionate Permanent Residence. We applied in Dec 2009. And until the final decision is made in this category, she could keep on living in Canada. Then CIC started again extending her tourist visa all the way until her PR sponsorship applicaion (not the H&C application). became successful in Feb 2013.

Great news that they are still issuing some visas. Happy for you, though I wonder why they are messing up my case so badly. Just 7 days remaining for medicals to expire and no news.
