Good question, and from my experience - there is a possibility that they will do this unless you word it so that they can only give you status or time frameAdonix said:Hi
I'll need advice from senior members once again since am in dilemma.
Background Info
I was 15+ years (in 2008) old when family sponsorship was started. I went to Canada on student visa in 2010 (student visa and study permit expiring in Apr 2014). I didn't submitted PP with parents in Jan since I was in school. As per response to enquiry from NDVO, they said they will request my PP when case gets to final staging and then they asked for it in June. Since I had summer off, I came India (which was a mistake and I realized later I could have sent my PP with somebody) submitted PP first week of July. I have my final year starting on 3rd Sept. Have sent bunch of emails and tried few phone calls to NDVO
Dilemma
After informing local MP about the situation and asked for assistance, he agreed to represent my situation to NDVO if I sign the consent form so he could represent me and the sponsor. If I do so am afraid they will just return my passport since I have valid visa.
Now I have option either to drop the semester and just wait or try to get my PP back and finish my studies.
Would appreciate some advise from my fellow friends here.
Believe me, I have tried the same and my dilemma is very big ( I don't wanna share details ) but its one of those which can't get worse - simply asked Delhi how long will it take so we can decide on few things, and can't go to Indian Consulate to apply for new passport
I'd say leave it and miss the semester, why u wanna pay international student fees anyway
