hello everyone

I got my GCMS notes for my parents today and it says the following

1) medical - passed
2) criminality - Assigned to XXX, due date - July 25th 2013
3) security - Assigned to XXX, due date - July 25th 2013

not sure what that means, so can someone let me know please ?

my parents passport is with DElhi embassy since Dec 2012, no idea what they are doing there

Congrats man, there was a time where we though S'pore would make it too late and I had decided to stay long and cheer you guys up even if I got mine - but it seems rest are racing away, good to know its all ending. Although I am suffering from ecasoria now where even though it might show an update, my mind won't believe it and will only see IN PROCESS

you need to write a letter to CHC ND with a ph# & they'll call u within 2 days (shocking eh!) to book an appointment & you can go to the counter to collect the password.

I think I have seen other posts but if someone needs their passport, can they or representative go to ND and collect it, resubmit again in a like a week

According to CIC website, it will take another 43 months to complete the process. Is it true...?
What is the average process time at ND office.

Sorry, could you elaborate. Did you actually email them and go to ND to pick it up?

So I email them with URGENT with Ph# suggesting I need passport
They call and ask you come and pick it up?

My dad wrote a letter to CIC ND with a explanation/valid reason and they called him within 2 days for the appointment. I don't know how Important ur visit but unfortunately it's gonna add more time to ur time line u have an example in front of u.

it wont, probably anywhere between 6-12 months would be more realistic.

Hi all,
Good luck to all your applications. I got a question here - I know the CIC has paused the parent sponsorship immigration now since Nov 2011, but does this affect both step 1 and step 2, or the pause is only on step 2? Please advise.
