Received GCMS today
...
Do they only show Principal Applicant info?

GCMS request is specific for an individual and not an application. Hence, if you want you mother's details, you would have to make a separate request signed by your mother.

Tx

Dated: 20/03/2013
In the notes section, it says PA ( dad ) has 18 trips to US. although none exceed more than 6 months
Says Request FBI for PA

I haven't received any such request? I have my fathers FBI, should I just send it?

I always got info for both of my parents in GCMS notes... most of the times I used my mother's (main applicant) UCI... but I also used my father's UCI once... in all cases GCMS notes had info about both of them...

Does it says anything in the "Outgoing" section or in the notes? If there is nothing in Outgoing, you need not send.

Nothing in Outgoing, so is notes like a recommendation?
Or should I wait, any harm if I just send it?

LVO/IO might have requested FBI report internally. I do not know how that works but Canada and USA do share information.

I see but any harm if I just mail it since I have it?

CIC usually dissuades people from submitting documents not requested by them. Hence, I would not recommend sending it. Sice you already have it, no harm in waiting for their request. Perhaps the request may never come...

Maybe I can email them and inquire

Meds Passed
RCMP Screening: OK
Criminality: IN Progress
Security: Not Started

Rest is all same, but why do they hide my Mothers UCI and Status for Police Clearance and RCMP? I mean they have "whited out" but I can make out from the alpha headers thats its clear
Its consistent with UCI, Meds, PCC, FBI and RCMP

Do they only show Principal Applicant info?

How did you receive it? I requested by email on March 31 today i received an email from them saying I am pleased to inform .....,... enclosed but there was nothing attached so I replied to that email saying that nothing was attached

By email

Does anybody know how long the background checks take on a simple file, i.e. 1 person, lived in one country all his life? From other posts it sounds like minimum 60 days. I am interested people's experiences with that.
thanks!

And there was an attachment with that? Mine didn't.

Yes, wait for their reply back- they did that with me and recalled their message and then I waited another 10 days
