yes... We hv 2 files at New Delhi. I don't expect to hear anything for other file soon as tht is in interview queue. Though, for this one, I m little hopeful. Would it b any faster if they ask for only xray compared to full med? Do u any idea abt 'Actual' interview timeline for new Delhi? It says 44 months in acknowledgement :(
2 files??? interview???? can you plese tell somthing about that

Cslave it's wierd because even though the status is "in process" but I have not received medical request. Does anybody know which came first, medical request or status in process?

after how long did u contact RCMP...and what is the way to contact rcmp for this
also what is the process of fingerprinting...do they ask you any questions...etc etc

we contacted RCMP in mid feb, which was 3 months after the fingerprints were taken at ND.
check this link for Criminal record check status enquiry frm RCMP:
http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cr-cj/app-dem-eng.htm
we had consent signed frm my mother-in-law to do inquiry on her behalf and attached with email tht we sent.

No, they dont ask u any questions and wont tell u anything either.

however, i read it somewhere (dont remember this site or other), where the user knw (thru MP inquiry) tht her parents r going to b asked for fingerprints. so she proactively asked her parents to send fingerprints to her, got them converted into electronic ones thru some company in Calgary and then submitted to RCMP.
This route wud b much faster as u can choose the courier service for fast delivery and processing time is 3-4 business days for electronic fingerprints compared to 18 wks for paper ones.

Hi there
I am in the same boat e _status is in process it says that we start processing your applucation on march 1,2013 but no medical request yet. I did order GCMS in starting of feb,2013 and got the response that medical is in process and they said they sent bulk email in dec,2012 for medical, pc etc. But i didnot recived
Any email. We send the email to new delhi that we didnot recive anyemail in dec,2012. Still no response from them.

Ashleen, can you post your timeline? Did you order the GCMS notes by emailing to mailing to them?
I want to make an order your GCMS now, i read the instruction that they require the signature of parent. So to be able to email to them, is that we first, print 2 forms, and then your parent sign it, then scan to file and email them? Do we need to scan the permanent president proof paper (like driver license,...)?

What happened if i missed the deadline for medical test submission because i didn't receive their email request. Will my application get rejected
and cancel? This is frustrating. Can i call them directly? Do they ever take phone call? The email method sucks for me this time. I don't know what to do now?

It wont get rejected just some delay. they do not take phone calls, fax or email are the only methods to contact them directly.

My timeline is as following
Intially i applied in may 2008
Document resquested in nov,2011
Recieved letter in march in canada saying that our file is in new delhi Now
Then my brother got email in july,2012 from ND saying that our file is here in ND.
Thats it
I order CAIPS. for the signature i email those papers to my brother they sign those papers and scan them then email me back. I didnot send any photocopy of PR card.

Somebody told me that MAXIMUM it's total 2000days process for family cases.
Counting from File recieved by cic till decision made & visa stamped.
It's been 1958days in my case. Hopefully I should get results in remaining 42days
Then.

Any comments ? How true it is?

Waiting waiting waiting :(
