thats a long wait. didnt you go to your MP?????

any idea why your file is taking this long????

it is a longgggggggggggg wait Ranja :( and very frustrating too :( most frustrating is tht they asked for all the documents, along with med and passports and started processing 5 months later. the file has been marked for interview n is in that queue since last July :'( we havent received any letter for interview yet n they have kept all the passports since dec 2011.

we have another file which they started processing in sept 2012 (9 months after submission of all the documents) n then they asked for fingerprints in nov 2012. nthng after tht :'( :'(

Are you the rep? then yes.
I am also rep and receieved everything here in Canada. two AOR's and two letters for police clearance certificates. You wil receieve email for medicals.
Luck786 @ why you received two letters for police clearance certificate. first one expired or you missed something. I am asking coz Islamabad asked for last 10 year pcc but my father also lived in US for two yeas in 1978-1980. currently we sent only Pakistani PCC. do they ask US pcc later on or they only need last 10 years.
Thanks

tx GG, I hope thats the case

btw, I know you check ecas everyday and you mentioned about postman too

Does your ecas have 2 or 3 lines?

For eg is it

We received your application for permanent residence on XXXXXX

We started processing your application on XXXXXX

Medical results have been received.

OR

We received your application for permanent residence on XXXXXX

Medical results have been received.

Because, it seems you have to look for that line 2 when they start the actual processing
If its option 1 - how long has it been like that?
my ecas has been in 2 lines third line only add when status change to in process

I understand how hard it is. was there a specific reason you got marked for an interview???

Hi user828 - In my parents case, we saw Medicals Received on e-cas only a month after submitting the additional tests.

So it's safe to assume that the comment "meds have been received" is typically after one passed meds?

I see, then GG - no point in asking postman as your process will begin as per their timeline and you will see comment like "we started your processing on XYZ date", since your meds are already there, they will do background checks after that period, the it will be decision made
