We started processing your application on January 23, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

I haven't even sent the paperwork wet ( which includes the copy of the medical sheet the doctor gave me )

I suppose this is good news?

Guys, does it mean they have passed it? as I have read in the past of this just means received and they will be asked more? if needed

Raj - did your folks have meds received but then you got additional test, and only then it became med received?

every new weeks starts like that and then around wednesday it starts to get depressing again lol. i think i should just stop checking my ecas till you post an update on your file. (although not sure if i will actually be able to do that. right after i thought about that i checked my ecas again lol.)

Does your ecas have 2 or 3 lines?

For eg is it

We received your application for permanent residence on XXXXXX

We started processing your application on XXXXXX

Medical results have been received.

OR

We received your application for permanent residence on XXXXXX

Medical results have been received.

Because, it seems you have to look for that line 2 when they start the actual processing
If its option 1 - how long has it been like that?

Hi user828 - In my parents case, we saw Medicals Received on e-cas only a month after submitting the additional tests.

In coming months, a lot of you in New Delhi will see visas coming. Most of you have passed medicals and I guess in next 2-3 months you guys will have visas coming your way.

could you please advise in your case - does the status "We received your application for permanent residence on XXXXXX" for your parents has the same date as "We received your application to sponsor xxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxx on xxxxx, 20xx" ?
