9 months from medicals and no news from CPP Ottawa yet!!!! What we can do? Just wait?

Have you gone through Financial Evaluation yet or it is after the medicals
How long it took to receive a request for medical after the transfer?

Financial evolution is done by Immigration Quebec. once you have approval lettre you can apply for CSQ. In the approval lettre is write that you can apply for CSQ. Ussually medical reqeust come by email in max 2 months after transfer.

I don't think so. This is just the beginning of the year. There is lots of time for them to meet their quota for the quarter/year and hence CIC would not be in a hurry to issue visas.

Does any one remember how was the online status look like before their sponsorship gets approved? Does it show both "Sponsorship Application Status" and "Permanent Residence Application Status" or just the "Sponsorship Application Status"?

The reason I am asking is, it says decision made, and letter was sent out on Dec 24, 2012, but I still didn't receive the letter yet. Little impatient here. want to find little evidence to figure out what the result maybe.

For the longest time, it said "Application Received" under the Sponsorship Application Status for me.

A week ago, the "Application Received" appeared under both sponsorship AND the PR application status.

Does yours have a Decision made under sponsorship and aplication received under the PR part?

When did you notice the changes?

new delhi visa office is just irritating us .......our passports are sent on nov 1st no news yet.....
online status still shows medical recived ....is this the story with other people

same here, pp sent to NDVO in 1st week of Nov still no news, online status same as yours!!!!! dont know how long will it take

Under the old rule, yes, you can file 2 separate applications at the same time as long as you meet the income requirements for all these people. But the sponsored parents can not sponsor 20+ year old children. Only if they are under 21 still in school and single. But by the time smb sponsor the parents under the old rules, the siblings reach the age, so it's very unlikely. But nobody knows what the future in sponsorship rules will be. Good luck.

Hello friends!

2013 had a good start for me and my family. We reached the end of our process! Tuesday ecas showed DECISION MADE and today they called our house and requested our passports and said that once we deliver (we'll go there Monday), it takes no more than 10 days to get it back.

After almost 5 years of waiting, looks like we'll be reunited with my brother on Family Day

I have two questions, first one is ecas adress only shows my dad adress in India is it ok after the decision has been made or it suppose to be change to my Canadian adrress? The second question is how long will it take to recived passport back form New Delhi after the status change to decision made on January 10,2013?

Congratulations! september2007. If your dad is in India, then address in India is okay. There are some other applicants still waiting for more than a month to receive their passport since 'Decision Made'. Some have received within 10 days though.
