There is a guy on trackitt whose parents passports were also received by Seattle on Nov 26. He has not got passports back.

Mine were received by Seattle on Dec 04. No news

Received passport today from Seattle after almost 7 weeks. The date on the envelope was Dec 19, so I guess it was in transit for a long time. It didn't came with the everyday mail though, came early in the evening, just found it in the mailbox. I'm planin to take my mom for landing during the weekend at Niagara Falls. I'll update after.

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum. I saw some really helpful info on this forum and hoping to get some guidance on my case. I have applied immigration application fro my mom and my brother as dependent in July 2009. I was requested for some additional doc's early this year which I had submitted in May, 2012.

The status showing on ECAS is application received (twice with the same date) but further activity since then. Please advise what would be next steps and how long will it take. Your help and guidance is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

... do we have to inform cic if there is new baby born , i got baby girl feburary 2011 but i didnt inform cic, but i showed more income for baby, will it affect on my application?

Hi veeru41: I am sure you must have read this in any communication that you may have received from CIC:
* You must inform our office of any change in your mailing address, a change in your marital and/or family status of yourself or your dependents, or other information relevant to your application. Due to our operational constraints we will not acknowledge receipt of the new information...

Based on the above, you would have to inform them about the new addition to your family. I would highly recommend that you do.

Ohh thanks Sakamath I agree with you aswell but I thought veeru needed to notify cic when she was at stage 1, since she has already passed stage 1 (where they check LICO according to family members). (Stage 2) Newdelhi does not look at our income BUT they can. Veeru told us she meets LICO anyways so Incase they raise a question regarding her baby veeru can send them optionn C as a proof that she met LICO including baby.
Now she is at final stage can get visa anytime if she send them this info it might delay her case.
But again we should do what is right even if it takes longer. Veeru fax them and also email them to update them about your baby also send option C printout for all years since you applied. L et us know once you hear back from them . best of luck.

This is what I read couple of years ago in one of CIC's operational manual.

At stage 1 - At the time of sponsorship evaluation/approval, CIC-M assesses for how many maximum people you meet LICO.

At stage 2 - Before issuing a visa, LVO checks size of your family. If the size of your family is less than or equal to the maximum number of people (that was assessed by CIC-M at the time of sponsorship approval), then visa is issued.
