Hi:

PPT, documents and medicals done in December 5, 2012.
PPT sent to ND VO.

My ecas status has not changed to medicals received ot anything at all.
Just shows initial application received date June 2008.

Some people who filed in 2009 have their status changed.

Is this normal?

Nothing to worry. It takes a month or two for the ecas status to be changed once the medicals are received. With the holidays and change of year, things may proceed a bit slower.

Hello Friends,Happy new year . I have an exciting news !!!!!!!! I got medical request from Singapore !!!!!!!!!! My mom and two sibling just finish medical last week.They also ask for Police certificate,Updated background information and Notice of assessment for 2010 and 2011.
Anybody have idea how long Singapore might take after that ??

isn't your sponsorship application already approved?
also pray that they don't ask for fingerprints, that will delay it by 4-6months.

I don't know why !! My sponsorship is approved and income is well above cutoff limit. May be it is LVO standard procedure.we are total Eight including my mom and siblings. Just to double check how much should my income need ??

Was there an addition of a family member in your family in 2010-2011 (may be your baby was born)..... If Yes, Did you account for income for a new born because family size was increased, so more income.

I was cautious when I got married after submitting my parents sponsorship. I ensured that the day I got married, I have income (in prior 12 months) for 4 people instead of 3.

yes, that might be a reason.But I inform Mississauga and baby born may 2011 and sponsorship approve Jan 2012.Including baby we are eight and my income above the minimum income required $66,006.Please correct me if I am wrong.

$66,006 is correct, if you/they consider it for Dec 2012. For figures after 31 Dec 2012, you would need to contact CIC call centre. Not sure in which category you'd fall (2012 or 2013). Better be on the safer side and check with CIC what are the figures for 2013. In any case, I do not think there would be any huge increase in the amounts from year to year.

I do not know for sure. But following is my understanding:

You need income for 8 people from may 2010 to may 2011 as well... what was the income for 8 people in 2011. If you meet that, you are good.

sometimes LVO asks for income again, if there is a change in family size.

Just an update. I checked the passport tracking on vfs website today. It says passport despatched. I hope it comes with a long awaited Visa.

It took delhi office around 4 weeks to turn around the passport.

I also send my parents passport through VFS-Jalandhar office and received by New Delhi on Dec 10, still waiting, when did you send passport and when it was received by them .
