Looks like the results of the consultation on redesigned parent & grandparent immigration program is now available, however, the link doesn't work. You can see the list of consultations in the following link, but when you click on the parent immigration one, it doesn't open. Do you guys have the same problem?

I emailed them link is broken, a very smart rep emails me and says try in IE 9 or Safari? and download PDF AND said not to reply
I fwded the reply with my original and said, this is hyperlink issues

You should be able to make corrections for date of birth once your parents are here in Canada as well as the corrections has already been made in their PR records , it is just a mistake again that ottawa made. or the best would be actually to wait and have the corrections made so that your parents do not encounter issues at landing with customs in case they are not in Canada already.

I was talking abt AOR, they have yet to finish quota of 2007-2009 application, I saw the #'s were so high and they said they approved 25K this year and then 25k next year and that doesn't come close to the large backlog so newer apps would have to wait till old stock is cleared i assume

they promised to clear all backlog till November 2013. it does not look like it's gonna happen...

Hi everyone,

Thank you to all who cheered with me and CONGRATULATIONS to all who got visas and updates! I just want to let you all know that parents are now landed immigrants through "flag-poling" as I had mentioned in July or August 2012, my parents are here on super visa. We received the ppr and mr sent from lvo to here in Canada. We sent my parents' passport via Canada post xpress post. And they did not went for another medical exam as they already had for their super visa. we received their passports with pr visa yesterday. however, the cic agent told my parents to exit Canada . . . thankfully, the agent was so helpful (bless him and his family) he told us about the easier way and that is "flag-poling" so we did it earlier and the American as well as Canadian border officers are well informed of it and the whole processing was rather smooth .... no fees ... visas was sent via DHL from lvo and free of charge!!!
