Still waiting for PPR requestas its 106 days have been passed after the medicals. any suggestions or guidence can i have from someone/Should i sent an email to CPP for status update

Got the mail from CPP Ottawa to submit copy of my mothers passport as the earlier one i submitted has expired. seams to be good news should have been sent alongwith the pcc as i had the copy made the mistake but finaly something happening with the file

Hi everyone----- Some more good news to share . We got our COPR back today from London so all systems go at last. Congratulations to all who also got theirs this week and good luck to all who are still waiting.

Yes you have to submit original certificate in your native language along with the english translation attested by the Notary.

 Documents which clearly establish the relationship between you and your sponsor as well as between you and your accompanying family members. Please provide a minimum of two (2) of the following: original birth certificates in original language issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths, school documents such as Fifth, Middle, Matriculation or Senior Secondary school certificates and/or mark sheets from an education board, certified copy of your sponsor's old Indian passport showing the sponsor's name and the parents' names, Indian marriage certificates showing parents' names, and voter identification cards.Note: All documents not in English or French must be accompanied by a certified translation into English.

I applied for my parents Family Sponsorship in July 2011. I have not yet received an Acknowledgement Letter. It's been 1.5 years almost.

Anyone else in a similar situtation?

I sponsored my in-laws and they did their medical in Dec 2011 , I would like to know what is happening with their file.

I was talking abt AOR, they have yet to finish quota of 2007-2009 application, I saw the #'s were so high and they said they approved 25K this year and then 25k next year and that doesn't come close to the large backlog so newer apps would have to wait till old stock is cleared i assume
