I felt the same way when the case I mentioned with a similar timeline to ours got processed quickly by London after ours was sent to Ottowa. I think it's very difficult to calculate what happens at each visa office as ther are a number of variables involved in different cases. Have you had a medical as you refer to re -med?

I think each visa office has its own timeline and processing times...

Hi Nanapush,
That's great you have done your medical and I hope you don't have much longer to wait for your COPR and then you can join your family in Canada. I just want things to reach conclusion after these last 4 and a half years and I put off going on holiday to Canada this year in case my medical request came through and I was out of the country and missed the cut off date. I will just have to be patient and hope it comes through soon. I just wish Ottawa had processed mine as they seem to be much quicker than a lot of the LVO's. Keep me posted how you get on.

London LVO processing time is much faster than Ottawa. I heard a similar case which was transferred to London LVO from Mississauga, her file was finalized in 3 months at London LVO.

she is working there under NAFTA visa

it should not be a problem to her sponsorship application as long as she can meet requirements of being a dependent.

Hello All,

Finally, I have an update on my e-cas this morning. The status is now "Application Received" for
PR Application too. Before it was "Not Available" under PR Application Status. Though I haven't
received AOR yet.

I hope to hear some good news soon.

Thanks and All the best to all...

Hi Nanapush, No I am still waiting to be asked to do the medical. It is almost 3 months since my file was transferred to London LVO so I thought I would have been contacted by now.

Regarding the numbers: it is in persons and not in applications, according to their report.
If you loot at the title it says clearly: Federal Parents and Grandparents Immigration Applications (in persons)

You are right - it does say it right there! How did I miss that? :D

We waited 11 weeks after our file was transferred to Ottowa to be called for medicals, so a similar time. Hopefully you will hear soon.

Hello folks!
My file was transferred to CPP-Ottawa on 26th March but I am still waiting for the medicals request...been nearly 7 weeks now....anyone on the same boat/timelines. Thoughts?
Could someone add my timeline to the table as well?

If your file was transferred on 26th march then its not 7 weeks now.. Its 19 weeks now.. :D

I would suspect that your file has been transferred back to LVO. Not usual but it can happen.. specially with reduced quota it is very much likely that if you have not heard anything about medical then your file is at LVO and not CPP-O..

she was approved as a sponsor. now they attention is turned to the sponsored parents. How long does she plan to work in the States? She might have to be in Canada the time the case is finalized.
