Hello All,

Finally, I have an update on my e-cas this morning. The status is now "Application Received" for
PR Application too. Before it was "Not Available" under PR Application Status. Though I haven't
received AOR yet.

I hope to hear some good news soon.

Thanks and All the best to all...

D_india , same here , I just checked and it states application received for both but I have two lines, one with not Available for PR application , I also not got any AOR yet. We are in same boat and hoping to get some good news soon....

Thanks

Just praying to get good news soon for us...

We waited 11 weeks after our file was transferred to Ottowa to be called for medicals, so a similar time. Hopefully you will hear soon.

I waited 8 weeks after my file was transferred to Ottawa.
But I think it all depends. My approval came just little less than 1 month after I submitted documents, but there are many who submitted before me haven't heard regarding the approval much later.

Hopefully it will move swiftly for you!

Dear All,

I applied for GCMS Notes on July 09, 2012 for my mother's case. The file is transferred on December 31, 2011 and no response yet. As per the email, there should be enclosure, but I din't get any doucment attached with the email I received. Only the letter below. What does this indicate.

It simply indicates that the person processing your request was not doing his/her work properly :) Simply reply to the email and cc any other email addresses that were provided on the email and state that they forgot to attach the notes. Do not forget to mention the reference number they provided. Hopefully, they should send the attachment in a day or so.

The internal policy for MER is 60 days from the date of letter that CIC requested for medical examination. Some officers strictly followed this policy, don't update the results on E-cas less than 60 days. However, some officers updated this info earlier or later.

This policy (60 days) was indicated in the GCMS notes. I can't remember who posted this info earlier.

For my "medical results received"was updated exactly 60 days from the date CIC requested.

Hi, have you ever worked or have a relative working for Immigration. I have noticed your replies seem very official, more like inside information or is simply a case where you have read CIC documents

Thanks for the exciting info, but what do you mean by "parent/s just received visas stamped August 1, 2012" . Does that mean they entered Canada? Or they are in Canada? Do you have more info on this, please...

Hi Mockava,

The August 1, 2012 is the date of issue. The lady from India has her mom here with Super Visa, her mom is one of the 3 dependents, though. She just recently moved in the ward where I am working at. And thankfully, she has an extended family (here in Canada) who frequently travels to India. The lady from the Philippines has both her mom and dad here with the regular TRV. The other lady has only her mom here and her application is processed in CPP-Ottawa, passport has to be sent to the Philippines. And surprisingly, their status hasn't changed, I seen only "Application Received" and "In Process" NO "Medicals Received" etc. (they all showed me their e-cas) Also, they all said "don't go bugging them (immigration officer); they won't respond if you DO NOT NEED any further instruction ... you will just get more anxious and depressed"

So I guess you got your passport request? Congratulations! :)

Thanks Moraine. No, we did not get passport request. Only status changed to decision made, still waiting for letter about it.

Friends

How does medicals received look on gcms notes. CIC requested medicals on 05/29 and we did on 06/20 in Calgary, Canada and then the GCMS notes we received on August 7th have mention of medicals only in sent but not received. Also I am expecting more tests for my father for his heart condition but nothing to that effect. From other in thread it seems that CIC updates the medicals exactly 60 days after request so they should have been updated on 07/29 but they dont seem to be. Can anybody pm or paste a section of GCMS notes which show how medical received shows in file and also how additional tests show in the notes.

Also We did not track the medicals (assumed that DMP had sent them). We are trying to get in touch with DMP to get tracking no and if not is there a way I can confirm from CIC that they have actually received the medicals (even if they have not updated the files yet).

Thank you for your help.

i'm not sure if you can see that medicals were send on GCMS notes... but when they are reviewed and passed or additional tests are required - then you'll see it in GCMS notes...

if you received GCMS notes on August 7 then you must have ordered them around July 7... my expirience with GCMS notes is that they show the status of the case on the date when they were ordered (+ maybe couple of days) not the date when they were sent... so it means that there was no pass/additional tests decision on July 7...

Do you know when your medical results were delivered to Ottawa? because even if you completed the medicals on June 20 - it might take a doctor up to 2 weeks to send medicals + couple of days for postal service... it is possible that they were not reviewed yet by cic on July 7...

in my case medicals were delivered to medical office on March 8 and reviewed on March 15...

in my case medicals is passed for my father:

Type: Medical
App Status: Passed
IME Status: Assessed
MOF Rationale Exists: No

and they asked for additional tests from my mom:

Type: Medical
App Status: In Progress
IME Status: Furthered
MOF Rationale Exists: No
