Must be new type then as IM 3029 doesnt have space for spouse but logically it should be 1 as per the form above

thanks a lot for reply,

In form there is nothing special only ordinary form with above top shows File no__________ and it says

Details of Foreign Travels

I am going to try with one form......Hope CIC consider and doesn't asked for another details again.

Thanks a lot again for reply and adviced.

If the existing form doesn't have space for spouse to sign then I suggest you to fill two forms 1 for principal applicant and 1 for spouse.
And if needed attached a letter explaining the reason.

Yesterday we had good news;

request for medicals, passport and PCC from Port of Spain visa office for both my parents and my wife parents.

my wife parents documents dated june 14th 2012 (60 days to complete medical and submit documents) - file was transferred to port of spain on may 30th 2012

my parents documents dated june 18th 2012 (60 days to complete medical and submit documents) - file was transferred to port of spain on may 30th 2012

LVO in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago processing time indicates 23 months, so they have cut the processing time down to about 1 month

We should be seeing some more good news from other people on this forum very soon..

Advice?

Should we be proactive about RCMP Police Clearance, my folks have lived for more than 6 months on 2 occasions? CIC says only when they ask but with these delays who wants to wait for their call?

In addition, I filled IM5476 Rep Form, but that typically means send me future docs to Canada, however my folks are here too and will apply for extension so should I ask for change of address for their residence too?

We've head 1 case only like that, as far as I know the pp has to go to India
thank you.
If this is the case, it will be challenging for us, too. In my home country, it is illegal to send any ID documents across the border (passports, birth certs etc).

Hmmm...Interesting suggestion about RCMP. My mom was here 5 times, alsmost a year each time. Maybe we SHOULD obtain RCMP clearances, just in case.

I don't think you should update their address. THeir PERMANENT address is still their home country. That's how i interpret it.

Any updates for LVO Singapore? any one? ::)

Yes, that's an issue. I have been reading forums and DHL can send it ( 90% ). So I plan to send it to a friend who will then send to ND, who will return it back to him and then DHL back to Canada

Then 2 options, make appt with immigration officer or make a U-turn via USA and re-enter

P.S

How long will it take for digital fingerprints to be processed by the RCMP?

If the applicant does not have a criminal record and has never been fingerprinted for a criminal offence in Canada, the RCMP will make every effort possible to process the request within 72 hours of receiving the electronic submission. (This means that the RCMP will put the results “in the mail” for mailing back to the applicant or third party within 72 hours.) In view of this, please ensure sufficient time is allowed for receipt of the results in the mail before commencing inquiries about the status of fingerprints. If a criminal record is encountered during the verification process, processing will be increased to 120 days.

My advice, wait to hear from CIC. They ask for RCMP PC only in certain cases (where parents were working for police/armed forces?). We are not sure if CIC would accept or acknowledge the PC if they did not ask for it.

Change of address would also mean transferring your file from NDL to Ottawa. You have to decide if thats what you would want to do.

..in other words, could delay it. CIC agents sais passport to india when time comes but i guess they don't know the rules so whats the best course of action?

why do you think so?
i doubt that if you change the address then the case will be transferred from LVO to Ottawa...
