My sponsorship was approved and file transferred to CPP-Ottawa on 25th March, 2012. Haven't received the request for medicals so far. Sent them an enquiry but no response. Anyone in the same timeline? Would welcome thoughts/guesses from folks whose files are also transferred to CPP Ottawa. Thanks!

Sorry I am 2007 and Singapore Applicant. I am f*?ed up. I have to wait at least two years longer than same time applicant of other LVO. Some 2008 applicant already at the end of process ,some got PP request. Proud slave of the discriminatory system !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes I agree its a discriminatory system and process, that what I have been saying since beginning. I think now its time to contact sponsorourparents.org and sign a petition and raise concern for the way of processing. those who want to join are welcome, those who are really concerned and affected must support and sign petition and or else we will still have to wait couple of years

I agree with you. I will also sign the petition.I would prefer to go back to my home country instead of waiting another 2-3 years.At least we should know the time frame to finalize the case so that we can decide about the future.

my sponsorship was also approved and file transferred to CPP OTTAWA on 5th APRIL 2012, HAVEN'T recieved the request for medicals so far.on ecas shows DECISION MADE APPLICATION RECIEVED.nothing more
application date 8th oct.2008 so pl guide me what we can do for further progress.also intimate to me where is your LVO OFFICE located?have u any dependent or only parents sponsorship?still today not a ANY response from CPP OTTAWA THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY jala25

thanks deepak, we should contact sponsorourparents.org and ask them what we can do. Yes we cant wait for couple of years as we have already waited too long (I applied in Dec 2007), and we need support from more people to sign petition.

today i emailed to sponsorourparents.org, the email is as follows

HI,
We the applicants have sponsored our parents and are still waiting for medial and visa. CIC transfers files to Ottawa and medicals are requested in couple of weeks and those files transferred to Local Visa Offices don't hear anything for months to get medical request. This is an unfair way for processing files and gives discriminatory feeling.
We want your help and request to do the needful for increasing the speed of files processing.

Now lets see what their response is

Hi to all my frnds i just come from holidays after 10 days. On my side news is that we collect all documents like t4,t5,t1, option -c for 2007-08 and sponser agrreement .today we will mail to them next wait again start

Question is: Are they following these ? They are violating their own statments and policy ? Whats going on ?

It seems CPP-O does not respond to email in timely manner. I guess they are fully busy. If your application is in standard processing times then they don't even bother responding.
In may case also, I waited more than 2 months for the medicals request, when everyone else got requests in 2 weeks or so. I guess it depends from case to case. You could give a try to talk to your MP and ask them to inquire.

CPP-Ottawa is very slow right now. Too many files and medical results were received. Buffalo LVO was closed and all files there were transferred to Ottawa. They will be further delay.

Medical results will be updated 2 months or longer.

Visa Offices in Europe will finalized files in several months. Several people have already got the visa from European LVO.

How long does a DM actually take? I thought it would only take 3-5 months after you sent the Passport, medicals and other documents?
Does anyone know someone who waited more than 6 months?
