Thank you Wec660, Paffy, Panjab, Cslave, Kandel and Sibnadian for your nice wishes and congratulations! :)
I wish you the same in a very short time.
Panjab only one sentence and your visa is there. The sentence is - Decision has been made on your application and the officer will contact you, something like that.

I hope that one sentence comes soon for me and all in waiting. So that we can live with our loved ones and our parents can enjoy with us and their grand kids :).

Thank you for starting this thread! :)
It was a way not to become crazy in this looooooooong waiting and was really very helpful for all of us.

hahah i am glad that i started this thred, it helped me and 100 of us to go through this stressful moment and get all kind of support from all wonderful and supportive memebers here,

Punjab : congratulations you are not that far keep us posted, we need this kind of postive news to keep up :)

Congratulations Teri. You are 1st one, on this forum, from Nov 25 batch, to get visa... The news from you bring hope and certainly there is light at the end of tunnel. It good that you finished the marathon. We'll get there, but for some there are more hurdles CIC has put in our race.... I mean some folks (including me) got Re-medical request. Some files are sent to LVO... some LVO's are not fast enough... or have quota constraints...

If CIC had not introduced new procedure in November last year, we all would have been praying for sponsorship approval today. CIC was not even crawling last year. But, they were dead stop at September 11, 2007 for months.... and honestly, last year same time, I had not imagined to get that far by now. Therefore, I think that things changed for good and hopefully everyone who is frustrated can see this as a motivational factor that something is better than nothing. I hope that by next year same time, we all are waiving our visas.... including 2007, 2008, and 2009 guys.... irrespective where the file was transferred... LVO or Ottawa.....

Looks like you got the email of sponsorship approval quite fast after sending in additional documents. Very impressive! Did you send it by regular mail on May 7?
no, i didn't send docs by regular mail, one of the officer from CPC-M contacted me on phone and she gave me her email id and advised me to scan and email the documents, i scanned and emailed docs. on May 13 2012 and then on May 17 2012 I got email advising me that I am approved for sponsorship

Hi all,

My parents got their medical done on May 22nd. I was able to check their application status online before with the file number. But now when I try to log in it says it couldn't find the information and gives me three reasons which are:

We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:

I have checked over and over to see if my information is correct and it is correct. Do you guys know what could be the reason. Can I call CIC to see what the problem is.

Thanks for your feedback,
