My status changed to In Process for the PR application so hopefully the will send the passport request for my parents soon.

This is what it shows online on my parents file.

We received your application for permanent residence on XXXX ##, ####.

We started processing your application on XXXX X, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

Finally today I have got my passport back.
With the visa in it.
Everything is ok.
God luck to all of you and wish the same in a very short time, as soon as possible!
Everybody deserves it after more then 4 years of waiting.

I first saw it at the starting of May.

the projected backlog for delhi is just under 1400 at the end of 2012. This would be after issuing 6000 visas this year. So the prospects for those who applied 2009 and before, should be quite good. *thats the optimist side of me talking*

Panjab only one sentence and your visa is there. The sentence is - Decision has been made on your application and the officer will contact you, something like that.

I am happy if I give you hope.
But I know how hard is to wait and wait and wait...
While I was waiting for my passport, on my e-cas I saw, in my mailing address, mixed numbers.
It was stressful for me, I was really anxious, but after 10 days waiting, everything was OK.
It is not nice when you are waiting for the passport, have not a clue when it will arrive, with mixed numbers in your mailing address.
