Hi Darshan,

I think Medical would go to the Local Canadian Embassy. Did you hear any update after your parents medical was done.

Hi,

I didnt get any update nor Ecas status change. DMP said, its standard we send to local CIC office. Unless if you request and pay international courier charges then we send to ottawa.
!!!!!

my medicals were send to a regional office in London, not to Ottawa... our DMP said he can send only to a regional office... the package was delivered but my status has not changed...

medical results of the guy (Andrei) from another forum whose parents are in canada were send to Ottawa (219 Laurier Ave. West, 3rd floor) at the end of February and his status has already changed to 'medicals received'...

Shuga, Your regional office london in the UK, right?
two friends' parent have completed their medicals in last week and they been asked the option to send either ottawa or newdelhi.
Would that be longer time if DMP send to regional office instead of Ottawa?

yes - my regional office is un London, UK... but we are not from UK and canadian embassy for my country is not in UK...

i don't know if there is a difference in time for medicals to be processed in local office or in ottawa... i believe they are all connected to the same system...

if i could choose - i would have send medicals to a medical office in Ottawa...

From my yesterday's call to CIC call center, I thought below info might be useful for rest of the forum members.
Agent confirmed that
1. Client-Ids were generated for my parents (not sure if they gets generated after processing application)
2. Police Certificates received (delivered on Mar 09, 2012 as per Canada post tracking)
3. Suggested to wait until we receive communication to undergo medicals.

I Agree. I think the medical 'final results' will be delivered electronically to visa office. After receiving medical results from DMPs, the medical office (either regional or Ottawa) will evaluate and send 'final results' to the visa office.

medical reasults are send to a medical office... the address of medical office in Ottawa is:

Operations Directorate
Director of Operations
Health Branch
Citizenship and Immigration Canada
219 Laurier Ave. West, 3rd floor
Ottawa, ON K1A 1L1

so you can ask your DMP to send your parents results to Ottawa...

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/dmp/exam.asp#reports

DMPs must forward all immigration medical reports to the regional medical office in their area by mail. Do not send immigration medical reports to the visa office processing the applicant's file. This will only increase the processing time

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/dmp-handbook/appendix-01.asp#appendix1

Shouldn't medicak reports to be sent to Regional Medical Office
Ottawa Regional Medical Office
Health Management Branch
Citizenship and Immigration Canada
219 Laurier Ave. West, 3rd floor
Ottawa, ON K1A 1L1
Canada
Fax: +1 613 954 6211

Address and floor is same, but department is different

Thanks for letting me know. Much appreciated!
It has been 3 days but my ecas hasn't changed. Is 3 weeks a standard wait time to get the letter after the email based on other members' experiences? Getting a bit impatient now ::)

Hi Sponsorparents, can you clarify? In your case, did they request police certificates but not medicals after transferring your case? Or did you just send police certificates proactively even before they requested? Have you sent them after you got confirmaiton about case approval/transfer?

Yes, I sent them proactively. I have those documents available after my file was transferred. I waited to see if I receive email request, but it didn't happen, so I decided to send them.

Hi All,
Just wondering if you guys paid landing fee when you submitted additional documents upon request in Nov 2011. I just saw it in the Nov 25, 2011 letter that they are recommending to pay the fee. I have not done that yet.
Should I do it now? Just wondering what will be procedure now if I pay the landing fee now and where should I send the receipt.
Thanks

i paid as well. but that is not really a deciding factor.. so you can pay later once you get confirmation too!
