Hi,
I have shared my time line info in this thread today in my first post. Let me know if you want to know more. :)

Hey guys, I just checked my e-cas status online and noticed that now two lines appear. They both state application received. What's the significance? I believe some encountered similar status.

That means a decision will be made in a week or so about your sponsorship eligibility (first step), and if eligible file will be transferred to either local office or cpp-o

For people who received medical request, what do you guys see when you login to ecas with your file number, principle applicants lastname, date and country of birth?

I see only my dads name and status as application received. I dont see any thing else including address, accompanying depandants details.

The first line is for the original application done few years ago. The new line is for the new application sent to CPC-M with updated docs.
So yeah as already said you should be hearing soon for decision if it's approved and then you app will be forwarded to either cpp-o or or CHC of your parents home country.

yes - only main applicant's name + application received in 2008... no info about dependents... nothing has changed yet...

Thanks - sponsorparents/vik_indian/shuga. I am just anxious to know the status and progress of the application.

Would be a nice way to end the week if I get some good news by tomorrow.
Good to see people are getting results

Dear Friends,
I've one updates...:
Friend of mine has received Medical and PCC request EMAIL day before yesterday.
Send his docs to CPP-M in the end of Dec 2011.
There is some confusion. Other two friends of mine have submitted their docs in the first week of Dec 2011, they havenot got this email YET!!!. Strange...? so there is something behind their planning...?
What is the different between these three four files (including mine). I was thinking about dependant part. but comes wrong. Other two friends' parents dont have dependant still they didnt get it.
So, only one thing is common, Two files parents never visited canada, who got medical and PCC request. rest two files' parents have visited canada.
Friends, little long here but thought to share with you as we all are desparate on this topic. thx.

Do you know how did they filled the forms? Hand filled or computer generated... I think hand filled forms would take little longer to process. In my case we hand filled all applications.. I think thats why my file is moving little slowly.. my 2 cents..
