can anyone suggest if there is any thread just for NDVO
Appreciate your reply... :)

..this is the best

I called MP office last week n request to get update on my case status, they said will call me in couple of days. However, when he did not call, I called today n he told me that ND states that they start reviewing my file in April n gave instructions not to call them before July. So does that mean, they hopefully finalize the case by then. I am really worried as our pcc will expire in few days if its valid for 6 months n also my brother who was 18 years old at time of application will finish his post graduation in June. Does he need to continue his studies still?

hi,

i got PPR & RFPR req in jan and we sent the pp in feb. the ecas changed to decision made in feb. i have not yet received my passport. the email(PPR) said that they would return the PP in 30 working days as our medicals will expire in june. it is very frustrating with cic ND. is this normal ?

Hi sandy, my sis was 22 plus 4 months when I filed the case. She received same letter that she is not perusing the study as per regulation as after completing her MA, she started doing some diploma. However, does not matter I have seen ppl who were doing even higher studies, did not get visas. It seems like Jason Kennedy has given instructions to VO not to give visas to 22 plus dependents. My sis received letter in stating of feb and has not recvd any reply yet but I am sure at the end they delegate her from the file n now unnecessarily delaying our case. Their were abt 4-5 students who were in the same category from my sis college n none has recvd visa. We mentioned in the letter that she changed the profession to improve her chances to get job in the future. I have cried a lot dear n now m just hoping that they at least provide the visas to rest of my family. If they did not has to provide visa why we waited for 5 years, she could have done something different. I was thinking that as long as you study continuously and are not married then age does not count. However, it seems they have created their own rules now. The sad thing is that we can not argue with these authorities. 5 years of some ones' life in waiting is not a joke.....

truly heartbreaking story. I hope somehow it works out for you. I was thinking that cic would actually prefer files with young dependents to add to the work force but i guess they only want people who fit the skilled worker criteria.

+1 OR just want brightest, not the ones who change courses or fail due to immigration purpose. Unless the rules allow them to discriminate

But if we look at that way, my sis started doing more of the skilled category kinda courses. She can actually apply under skilled category after getting work experience as a civil engineer but she is too disappointed at this time and anyone can be as if you are waiting for something for years n all of a sudden this happens, will definitely affect you.....well, He always opens up new doors for us....keeping faith in Him, give us strength to go through rough times.....

God or no god, hope is what keeps us alive so be positive and it is what it is..painful to say the least but then life will find alternative

Thank you friend for your kind words. I hope some miracle happens .....I called MP office last week and when didn't hear back from them, finally i called the office today. He told me that ND started reviewing our file in April and gave instructions not to call them them until July. So, does that mean hopefully they will finalize our case by then?
