Didn't you get a printouttorontonian999 said:Hi guys, my parent sponsorship application was received by CPC-M on November 2, 2011. To date, I haven't received any acknowledgement from CIC-M, because they haven't sent any acknowledgment letter yet to those who have applied after April, 2011. I was holding onto my Canada Post receipt with the tracking number on it as the proof that they have received my application (in case CIC can't locate my application for whatever reason). Previously, the tracking number did show that my application was received by CIC-M. However, nothing comes up anymore when I put this tracking number. I think it's because Canada Post erases the tracking database after a certain period of time? Anyone had this problem with Canada Post before?

Dear Sir/Madam,
This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.
This Family Class application was received in New Delhi on 30 APR 2008. The application is currently in the queue for initial review. It will be reviewed in accordance with its place in the queue for applicants in this category, based on the application received date. Following the initial review, the applicant will be advised directly of the decision or any next steps.
The times to first review, interview (if required), and finalization may vary depending on the number of new applications received and the individual complexity of each application. For actual processing times of permanent resident applications in New Delhi for the last 12 months, consult this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/08-fc-parents.asp. Applicants may also refer to our website, www.india.gc.ca, for more information about processing times.
We continue to work hard to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible, while at the same time bearing in mind the capacity of our settlement community to support and assist newcomers with their transition toward making Canada their home.
We trust that this information will be of assistance.

I'm a little late posting this but we landed in Vancouver on Tuesday evening. We were delayed in immigration with a long line up but then they put extra officers on and the line moved quickly but about 90 minutes in all. We arrived in the arrivals hall to the sound of our 2 grand daughters shouting "welcome home Nana and Grandad." Fantastic ,and good to be back as residents now. Best wishes to all still waiting.
There is no methodology. It is just total MADNESS. :-Xranja said:anyone knows which applicants are being asked to submit detailed travel and work histories by lvo-nd???
