We just received the letter in India, my friend has scanned and sent to me - they haven't asked for all paperwork again but here it is

Medical: Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination Please complete medicals for yourself & your spouse as per the instructions attached. This must be received at this office by: 03/14/2013
> > Other: Kindly provide detials of your activities from 06/1975 to 12/2001 & for your spouse , XXXXXXXXXXX, from 06/1962 to 04/1964 and from 06/1976 to 12/2001 as indicated in the column 8 of the attached forms. This must be received at this office by: 03/14/2013
> > Passport/Travel Document: Valid passport or travel document Submit passports for yourself & your spouse after completing medicals & obtaining Police Clearance Certificates. This must be received at this office by: 03/14/2013
> > Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate Updated Indian Police Clearance Certificates for yourself & your spouse. This must be received at this office by: 03/14/2013

I have already sent them Indian Police Cert from Aug 2012 and FBI for my mother from March 2012 ( they have acknowledged this in the GCMS notes ), I can get Indian PCC fast but FBI will take 2 months? what should UI do, write a letter suggesting that or ignore PCC as they have it

apply new fbi send then through fast courier i received my mother new FBI in 22 days .call the fbi after 3 weeks of sending request they will give updated status so if u want to obtain new one then follow these steps .and many many congrats for updation on your file

Why is it necessary for the applicant to submit the same thing again and again ?

If somebody lived for XX number of years in a specific country, and no longer lives there, obtaining 1 certificate should be enough, in my opinion.
Applying for and submitting the same thing, for the same period, for same country is so silly, why can't these processing clerks look in the file for everything before asking the same again ?

Even the US and/or Schengen/EU countries don't ask again and again for the same documents, why can't CIC officers bother to check GCMS before sending these requests?

On another note, our eCAS still not working.

Congratulations September 2007!!! i applied in aug 2007...but still waiting....i too have a dependent sister...were they interviewed or not?? i will appreciate ur reply!

which visa office is processing your file?

our case was transferred to Ankara in 15-4-2012,
send medical in 14-5-2012, and still waiting for PPR, actually im from Iran, i wounder how long does it take to get our visa, even though an estimation could be a big help. I appreciate that

Since ur medical would get expired in may.. So you should receive ppr in a month's time.. Till march to be specific.. Because the applicant has to land in canada before the medical expire.. So they should issue the visa to u guys as soon as possible.. Best of luck

1ST STAGE - SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION STATUS
"DATE APPLIED": 19-Dec-08
AOR: 4-Apr-12
"SPONSOR APP E-CAS STATUS": DECISION MADE
"SPONSOR APP DECISION": APPROVED

2ND STAGE- PERMANENT RESIDENCE APPLICATION PROGRESS AND STATUS DETAILS
"MEDICAL DONE": 15-July12 (But till today not update on cic.gc.ca online service)
Police Clearances Certificate send in Jun-12
Request for CSQ (Quebec Selection Certificate): 20-Oct-12 (received this request from CPP-O)
CSQ Send: 10-Nov-12

on online (E-CAS STATUS) showing only in "Permanent Residence" : We received "Parent's Name" your application for permanent residence on December 19, 2008.

Please help me to guess:
1) When I will able to see "In Process" on the E-CAS STATUS.
2) When I will able to see "Medical Result received" on the E-CAS STATUS.
3) When they will ask for PPR for my parents.
4) What is their LVO, is it LA, California or CPP-O? (application was sent to Buffalo New York).
