Veeru ok so you would do it when they will ask you as a last stage?
You know what works best for you but i just wanted to make sure that you have read Sakamath's and Rajmalhotra's posts regarding your question.

Here is one of their posts
:) Hi Kandel and Veeru, I think I am in the same boat, my family size increased after I sponsored in 2008. My application as a sponsor has been approved by CPC-M and sent to ND for further processing. My ecas status says IN PROCESS and have not received anything from them.....they started processing on 19th dec 2012. I havent notified them about my new born. Do you think they will get to know by itself? Will it create any problem in my case? Please help me because I think the members of this forum has much more experience than any immi lawyer!!! I mean it!!! :)

You must inform CIC about birth of a child ASAP. Because this changes the requirement for LICO. You will/may be required to provide financial information (Option C docs, Notice of assessment etc.) to prove that you meet the requirements with an increased family size.

Do you meet the new LICO after adding a new born. 12 months prior to the date of your new born. If you meet new income, you can call CIC call center and inform them. If you do not meet income, then I'd suggest do not inform them and try to increase your income, so that when they re-assess you meet new LICO requirements. I do not have specific examples on this particular situation, so get advise from others as well.

I think, since the requirement for LICO is 12 months prior to the birth of new child, whatever income level was during that period will still be assessed. So holding off to inform CIC about the birth of new child won't help. However, increased income level will certainly be a plus.

Hi everyone,

There is an issue that I would like to discuss it here, it may be helpful for others who are waiting for passport request letter.

I have received passport request email on Dec 24, 2012. My parents have not submitted their passports yet because they need them for another passport related issues.

In the letter for passport request they mentioned that visas will expire on march 14th,2013 which is too short a time from the date they are going to issue the visa.

I believe they set this expiry date based on my parents first medical examination not the second one. My father had to go through some more tests which delayed the whole process. So those who went through extra medical tests might face the same situation and their visas expire shortly after being issued.

Did anyone else was in similar situation? Did anyone asked for extension in visa expiry date? Do my parents need to do medical and PC again to extend their visa expiry date?

Thanks,

Mahboubeh
I am not sure if CIC will change the expiration date for PR Visa/Landing. If you have a valid passport and is not expired then send it now rather than later. Hopefully, you will get it back with visa quickly.

Congratulations Khaira
When did you send the medicals?

Congratulations Deepak to you as well.

Mahbubeh
I guess you shouldn't delay it and get it done.So far I don't know anyone who had requested a delay for visa.People are even landing on two weeks notice.Getting the visa and getting this process done should be the main priority.

Iam glad to see everyone is always ready to help each other on this forum.
I have also come up with some explanation.
Iam using Ranja's and Lucky's topic and just expanding it.
This applies only if she took History in BA which i guess she did because that is the requirement for MA history if i am not wrong.
Que.1- Why she changed courses?
Ans.1- She always wanted to do something in History like MA History to become teacher/professor of History.
a. WHY TOOK BA?
So she started with BA in which History was included.
b. WHY TOOK COMPUTER?
Because of high demand of Computer/technical jobs in Canada she changed her field of study into Computers.
c. WHY TOOK MA ENGLISH?
Because she was suggested by her family members in Canada to take Engish because English is Canada's first language and she could do lots in English.
d. WHY TOOK MA HISORY?
Because she was always intrested in History and as mentioned above she always wanted to become teacher or professor in History. so she decided to pursue her studies in History rather than Masters in course like English in which she failed twice and in which she could not show her best. So her family also agreed with her decision and let her do what she wanted from the very beginning.

Also Member39 if you can get original letters from her English professors that she tried her best to accomplish MA English but she could not do well that's why they(Professor) suggested her to do what she is good in instead of something she is just doing for others. (I know sometimes our teachers/professors suggest us to move on to something we are best at)
Also if you are going to use that point that she always wanted to become History Teacher. and she is really good in History. If she is good in History thats awesome if not please tell her to study hard in history, revise her whole course from beginning as CIC can call her for Interview & ask History related Questions as we read in link that Lucky provided. Tell her to study as if she is going for Provincial exam/Board exam.
Also as Raj said you can post your Letter here and everyone can help you to make sure its good enough to prove your point.

Lucky, User, Raj, Ranja and everyone else please comment and do correct me if i have said anything wrong and also share your opinions. Even if my whole point is wrong, correct me.
Agree with Kandel's suggestions. Very well rounded answer with no loop holes as long as she is able to show her competency in history.

They have valid passports but my father can not leave the country before renewing his visa for the country of his residence (basically he can leave but will not be able go back) and he is now dealing with that. Giving only 2 months to land is not reasonable, so far any visa we got, we had 6-9 months to land. Hopefully all will be done in time.

If your father now intends to move to Canada then priority should be to get PR Visa stamped as quickly as possible. How long it takes for the visa renewal process in the country (which country?) where your father is currently residing?

Giving only 2 months to land is not reasonable........by law visa's are always valid for 12 months from the date of medical, so one must be prepared to get visa and travel even at short notice.

My father would like to move to Canada but he has business there and can not end everything abruptly so he still need his visa for Kuwait too.

Raju,
That is true 12 months after medical. But in most case visa is issued 2-3 months after medical which gives 8-9 months to the applicant to get ready and land.In my father case they asked for more tests. It took CIC 6 months after second test and more than 9 after first medical. I just believe it is fair if they consider second medical test as the start of 12 months not the first one. Anyways, it seems I cannot do much about it, other than just hoping for the best.

Recently so many people came to Canada on very very short notices. They all had businesses to properties to sell.I think your father can come ,do his landing and then go back and see his business matters.

By reading this forum and others people are mostly ready to land in one week.He cn go back in a week and then you can send his PR card later to re enter. It is a option and possible .Read this link
