my father birth cirtificate date is incorret according to passport but he is having his school leaving cirtificate having same date of birth as passport can i use that one instead of giving wrong cirtificate to cic.So please help me in this regard

Question: How did this happen? Did passport office make a mistake and entered in correct date in the passport?

Assuming that the birth certificate date is correct, I will suggest to get the correction made in the Passport. My daughter had the same situation and got it corrected when she returned to India (after 14 years). A new passport was issued same day under tatkal Service.

In case you cannot get the birth date correction in the passport, other alternative will be an Affidavit, notarized and verified by a first class magistrate in the court. Include other supporting documents with the affidavit, which show the same birthdate as in the passport.

Each LVO has different requirement for alternative documents, contact your LVO.

thnx kandel and raja ji for your helpful advice but yesterday my father found his 'not found birth critificate letter'know everything is ok....and one more question is that translation of documents from punjabi to enlish and be done from simple person or there is some other people who translate special for immigration.
