Hi rajmalhotra7 : thank you for the reply i appreciate it ,i received the mid's request papers by email because im the rep of them , in fact i dont know which regional medical office that will receive their mid's ,i'm going to search now which one . it's been now five weeks and a half i will wait for another week or so and see either call the DMP or contact cic . the reason of being worried is that the situation in my country is very bad and i'm afraid what if they ( the DMP ) close their office as the canadian embassy is closed since last year because of the war .
thank you rajmalhotra7 so much again .

syrian,

even if embassy is closed they will start processing in another office nearby or transfer file there or something.
the only thing you can do is to fax the visa office asking for expediting due to the situation, and notify them the date medicals were completed, etc.
Try that if you can, but no guarantee it would help.
Best to stay put and wait it out. Sorry to hear about the situation I hope it gets better for the Syrian people.

Apologies for this belated update. My parents received their CoPR November 20. It was issued by Seattle as they in Canada visiting. It took approximately 4 weeks from CIC requesting copies of their passport to issue the CoPR.
My parents completed the process by travelling over the border ("flagpoling") on December 21.
Could someone update the spreadsheet?
Thanks for everyone's support and good luck to everyone still waiting.

Does the DMP give the option to fast courier of meds? What you guys think should a person take this option? What is your opinion? Thanks

Most DMP's do give this option and charge extra for sending via courier mail (i.e. FedEx, UPS, DHL etc.). With this option you can get a tracking number. It helps keeping track of mailing and delivery dates. It is good to take this option if available.

Hi Rana93 i dont think you can send school certificate instead cuz birth certificate is very important...but you can do one thing send them NOT FOUND birth certificate and put correct date on it....dont quote me on this plz see someone professional like lawyer or notary public in your city.

Syrian
How are you? About bad condition in Syria...you can write a letter to visa office fax and e-mail both explaining how bad situation your family is living in and that you are very worried for your family's safety also put your all information and put urgent on top with ur pr card no,file no, contact info etc. Do this and see what happens also you can meet your City's MP after january1'13 as their offices are closed right now. Good luck =)
