Thanks KENDAL.Thanks NANAPUSH for your reply. Thanks KPINDIA. CONGRATULATIONS jdep & sponsorparent.

Any guesses when I would hear from CPC-M? They received my sponsorship application on Nov 02, 2011 - just 2 days before they paused the parent sponsorship applications ;D I am probably one of the last people in line.

They released this

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/consultations/index.asp

which had

Stakeholder and Public Consultations on a Redesigned Parent and Grandparent Immigration Program
[ March 23 to May 25, 2012 ]

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/consultations/parent-program/index.asp

Its been 3 weeks since I reported the link broken, its gone to 2 different depts who have read my email ( I can tell from my s/w ) and 1 has replied suggesting me to upgrade my browser - and that followed a lovely techie reply to them, they unlinked it and are waiting for Sire Jason Kenney to give more details

==============

My own calculation to this backlog, you are looking at late 2015 for finalization

Finally ;D I received email today for Passports by CPO.
Mom-dad in India gonna send Passport to Chandigarh office
Surprisingly there was no status change to In Process or Decision made since Oct 6th when they updated as Medical Received. Directly received Passport request.
Hopefully Mom-dad will be here in 15-20 days!!!!

Hi Friends,

I am preparing package to send to New Delhi Office which include IMM008, backgrond and family forms and other. I need some help and advice.

In Document checklist one point is as shown below,

"updated educational documents for your accompanying dependents 22 years of age and above at the time of spocership. Educational documents such as original mark statements, certificates, diplomas and degrees. Also provide a letter from the institute or college stating his/her present course of studies."

So my question is if dependent was below 22 years of age at the time of sponsorship (which in our case was 2007 and dependent was 19) then we do not need to provide any educational documents??????

Can you please guide me if have idea.

Hi SubhmitIndia answer of your question is that you dont have to but you SHOULD cuz if you dont there is a possibility that ND office will ask you and obviously that will delay your case. Also we have discussed this while back (in November) you can check my old posts if you want. I will also do the same & if you have any confusion let me know.
