Passport LOST by LVO Delhi

We received the Visa today. However, we had submitted 2 passports for my mom, one current & one expired, and Delhi LVO only returned the current passport. We need the expired passport as it has valid Visas on it.

Has anyone on this forum had the same issue. Is there a phone # for Delhi LVO that I can call and talk to someone??

Hi Raju735: I see your case is with ND LVO so it is generally takes a bit longer to process everything (my understanding, they are processing a lot of cases and those 'complicated' cases - with dependants.) My case was with CPP-O and it took only two days to add a visa to the passport (it actually took longer for my mom to submit her passport.)

thats not worry..most of CIC objections only in viral cases...like HIV , AND flues like bird flu, swine flue etc.....surgeries are normal..... medical are not big deal in case processing ......so be relex and wait for final decisson.....otherwise my file also still in ''Application Recevied''.....do have dependents in ur case???? ...

I would say they worry about certain infectious viruses/ bacteria/ diseases like HIV/AIDS (blood test is done to rule it out), active Tuberculosis (X-ray is used to identify potential cases and then a follow-up sputum test may be required to diagnose this), Syphilis (blood test is done to rule it out) and those diseases/ conditions that are costly to treat in Canada (e.g., blood test is done to check the kidney function.) Flu should not be a problem unless you show up for your medical exam or at the border with signs of acute infection (after it is treated, you are Ok') As far as surgeries are concerned, it depends on what kind and how long time ago. For example, for bypass surgery, they may want to have a note from a doctor or an exercise heart test done to prove that this particular surgery took care of the problem.

I have a question: does anybody know about the CIC plan for this pilot project? I mean is there any plan to process all the cases before they re-open the door again for new applicants? is there a site that have any information about these stuff? I'm tired of waiting
another one please: does the super visa affect the sponsorship application? I mean do I need to cancel sponsorship in order to apply for a super visa to my parents ?

Hopefully CPC-M can approve more sponsorships in december. November was pretty much dry, very few approvals heard on this forum.

Hey susan,

Your sponsorship wont get effected if you apply for super visa.. If your visa office is Ottawa pilot your case should get processed in couple of month,since few 2009 applicants of ottawa office have already received their visa's.. I havent come across any news pertaining to any plans that they goona follow.Since they randomly pick applicants and are not following any strategy.. It's all luckk!! .. So pray that ur case processed soonnn .. I am sure it will.. They have still one more year till they reopen parents sponsorship program.. So dont think they could process all the applications till 2011 by next year..
