Ya my frnd he has many cases of parent applicant i can give you the address of him in ludhiana

I don't trust consultants ( no offence to your fellow ), as they will say anything to get a case and fee. I am just wondering how one can be so sure, regardless of having x amt of cases as we are seeing there is no real sure shot timeline frequency when it comes to CIC. Raju is 1 example we know coz of the site

Yes I am still waiting, 3 months have passed since AOR from Mississauga, ecas still shows application received in both categories, ecas was once 2 lines for a while but a few weeks ago it changed to one line, don't know what that means, no communication since....on the same boat waiting... applied since early July 2008.

Hi, am still waiting as well for decision on Step1. I applied originally may 2009. I got asked to resubmit documents in Jan 2012 and got letter confirming receipt august 2012...

I applied in October 2007 for my parents and 2 dependents. I still haven't got my sponsorshiop approved let alone medical or any further steps.

Yes, probably they do not do it if less than 70. We will see how it goes for us - my mom is under 70 and my dad is 71
But my friend did say that when she made an appointment the receptionist asked up front if her mom is over 70 or under 70 as the cost was slightly different (maybe because that additional exam had to be included?)

My Dad is above 70, my Mom is under 70.They were taking Medical last December, in US, nothing like mentioned 'mental check' was done by doctor.

just wanted to give you an update that yesterday my mom and her depedant daughter received a request for passports from Moscow. That is only a month after submission of medical results and additional background documents. So, the cases seem to be moving overseas.

Listen i recevied letter on 5th April from LVO-ND via email that confirms my file transfer to LVO......after that 6 mnths i was waiting any kind of email from CIC.....but suddenly at 9th oct i recevied this medical request..via...post

so i also provide Email......1st letter from LVO comes via email.....and 2nd comes via post....and my e cas still shows applican recevied.....amazing..

Thanks for the information Navv89. Does anyone know of any instances where LVO-ND sent out email requests for medical and passports or has it always been through mail???

I came to know from my MP on 5th OCT 2012 that Delhi CIC send my mother a letter requesting updated info dated 3rd Oct (I guess same as yours as I have my sis as dependent and file from Nov 2007). Then I was thinking what kind of info would they want now??? and on 9th Oct when I saw your post I now know it would be the same as yous letter and Medical request.

My mom still have not received that letter in india. Can you tell me are you very close to delhi?? My mom is in Mehsana-Gujarat, this delay in getting the letter is so annoying me??

I sponsored my parents in September 2004 and I just received refusal letter in July 2012.(after 8 years of waiting) Ridiculous...They are waiting till our parents get sick... My father had a heart surgey with stems and he told them that he did the surgery. He was send for so many medial procedures. and now they are saying it is chronic situation. His doctors in Sri lanka says he is fine. I We are lost. Looking for a appeal lawyer in Toronto. please help...

That's what I heard too: that older people are requested an extra test of creatinin (considered to be a proof on how the kidneys work)
