Maybe I did it wrong, but I put there (on the printed proff of RPRF) the sponsored person (my mom), not the sponsor (me).
I was driven into doing so by that 'Client ID number' to be filled; as I do not have such an ID, I presumed it was my mother's. So I put her Client ID and also her name & home address.
Now I'm confused and worried.

No need to worry. These r not show stoppers.
You need to worry only if u r expecting a refund.
Otherwise its business as usual.

they say that it is 11000 just for Ottawa, how can we be sure that they have almost reached Ottawa quota....may be they just mentioned a total - overseas and Ottawa...

Oh guys, if by June, Ottawa has already processed some 10,700 applications and its quota is some 11,000 .... then we have only 300 to go ...

I was really hoping to get it this year.
We got approved in March and did medicals in May. The medicals were received in June and since then ...NOTHING!

do we know how many have been processed by LVOs (a breakdown of LVOs will be appreciated)?

You could be right, i.e. that the numbers indicate the overall numbers, as the document mentions that they have reached only 74%. If it was only for Ottawa, then 10, 700 out of 11,000 is more like in the 90s%.
So, I still hope to get the PR this year.

The 74% is the increase compared to last year, does not mean they have reached 74% of their target.

that link u guys have just tell whats there target is for 2012 that is 32000 which includes 11000 processed at cpc canada and rest 21000 is divided into all the countries so all those files in ottawa have more chances of getting visa this year. new delhi has quota of 6000 out which who knows how many r issued. i wish everyone best of luck that we get to see our loved ones quickly. if someone has a link where we can see how much quota they have used please share that will be really helpful.

i just checked this link posted by ranja by this it says only 10779 (this number is in person not files) have been issued jan to june
its october now so my guess will be another 3 months we will add another 6000 in 10779(6 months). so that makes a total of 16779 and quota for this year is 32000 so guys i think its 3 months left and they have lot of quota left lets guess 40% by the numbers we have from cic and adding more by guess. any suggestions pls share its just my guess and giving hope to everyone that we will see our loved ones soon.

Our passports came back in 3 days but they said there was an issue. Can you tell me something, did your parents passport have pics with White background or colored? My parents were told passports were invalid and need new passports

yeah i have heard people who make new passports have to send pic with white background..but refusing to stamp visa because of that? wtf
ours are also with colored background... my dad had got visitor visa on it without problems though..

dont know how true the rumor is.....i m sponsoring my mom ( just mom, no dependents) my file tr. to ND on May 17, 2012 and then nothing else......

Dnt Knw..wat happning in CIC-ND ???....bcoz in september there r soo many PPR and medical requeted frm CIC-ND..... most of they r only parents applications....
