you are right sponsorparents, so many hidden factors, which none of us may aware at all by us.

In my case, i was so worried and in tense when CIC- LV New Delhi sent me first letter with timeline guideness that it will take whole process around 43 months.

But now last couple of months process was so fast at LV office which is unbelievable. In other forum one of member already received same status like mine in online and his file was transfered to LV - New Delhi too.

Now i am in more curiosity to received the letter from CIC as earliest.

Previously one of the forum member indicated that it may CIC rejected my case.....which is highly doubted?

Hi Rick 2007, first of all many many congrats.....i wanted to ask u if u recvd a letter or an e-mail from ND stating that the process may take abt 43 monts? because after my online status for sponsership was changed to decesion made, i never recvd any letter frm CppM (r/g sponsership approval or file transfer) but abt a month later, I rcvd an e-mail frm ND which says "time to initial review 9 months" and "time to interview 43 months". I m so woried as in end october it will be 9 months since i rcvd that e-mail....pls update to ur best knwldge

hi frnd i want to clear 1 doubt.
1.when I login with file number f0000xxxxx i saw the mailing address of our representative.its an canada address.
my file has been transfer to new delhi .so did my address change to india mailing address after i got AOR from new delhi plz suggest me something????/

For me it still shows my address even after receiving an AOR frm ND b'cus m acting as my parents rep....therefore, i think they are going to communicate with ur rep....mostly via an e-mail

But i read some time ago in forum that AOR are send to the e-mail address which are written on IM008 so can any body confirm it

Thanks Shuga. But as i mentioned earlier my parents files is in ND from Jan 2011 and they had done their medicals in June 2012. So what will be more informative ? should ordering electronic file is enough to know the status of the file and to know if their criminal background check is started or not or should i also order physical file to knw status of their medicals as one of my parent had to go for remedical due to heart conditions?

it's your choice...
physical file gives more info... but it might cause a delay because the file will be send to Ottawa to make a copy...
electronic file gives less info... but it is enough to check if medicals are passed and criminality checks has started or completed...

my rep is in canada too.. and it shows his address.. the file is at lvo though and we sent all documents + pp to new delhi and after that the status changed to medicals received as well..

whats the problem with it? cic will communicate with my rep through email or mail if they need to..

Hi want to confirm the letter of medical and passport goes to your canada address or in india.bcoz i am thinking if the letter goes to delhi to canada it will take time.thx for your reply

Online service is not for LVO files, I went through this before. He has to send fax to ND with Rep form, when I did this..I saw the changes within 1 day

You are right. We can't change the foreign address online. I changed my parents home address to my Canadian address as my parents were going to visit me.

I am disagree with the delay for hidden factors. may be depends on visa officers and luck. I haven't find any strong reason for years of difference from one case to others. CIC simply don't follow the precedency of intial application time at all. I don't see any justice in this regard.
some 2008 applicant already got visa,Most of the CPP-O files are at final stage, even some 2009 got medical request. whereas 2007 people are still waiting to start processing step2, even some 2006 waiting for visa.we don't see any action from CIC to make this fair.look at unfair distribution of Visa quota !!!
Good thing is that cic at least moving even with unfair way.Good luck for those still waiting and havne't get any correspondent from LVO.

yes completely agree with cslave.....I m sponsoring my mom (only 1 person, no dependents), my file was transferred to ND on May 17 2012, and then i rec'd letter saying ND VO has rec'd file, that's it and nothing after that.

I contacted MP for update on my case and got reply from MP that file has been transferred to ND and ND VO has not done initial review till date!!!!!?????.....even MP was also surprised.

logically thinking, when a file is transferred and initial review is done they can request if something is missing ( this will cut waiting and processing time) no wonder why we have to wait 5 - 6 years.

People say some are screaming for time taken, but to me it doesnt make any sense that 2008 applicants files are processed (definitely they are lucky) where as 2006 and 2007 applicants are waiting ( and their files are not even initially reviewed)

Your post took my attention as you mentioned your LVO is Nairobi. Mine too, if my sponsorship is approved, which I have been waiting since Oct, 2007.
Just wondering if you have dependents in your file.
And Simrank, congrats! Please fill us up with the goodies from your end so we can hope for good news for us too.

Hi lucky but the new delhi used to send AOR by e-mail.i will change my representative and send them fax and e/mail.

Finally today parents received passport with PR status............. :-*

I am still dreaming that parents already received PR visa from ND - LVO.

I am so happy and parents are excited to come here very soon..i feel today i won a lotto max.........

Today morning around 4.00 A.M. my Dad call from back home and said they received papers and passport with stamp from CIC. I told my Dad to send all the papers scan copy right away and i received all the copy here now.

CIC given one year to come here in Canada.
