My parents just called to let me know that they got the passport request email this morning, since they live about 20 min from the embassy they took them today at 2:00 pm....They have to pick them up tomorrow!!!! I couldn't believe it... But it finally happened.... tomorrow my parents have their visa in the passport!!!!

Ecas status for my parents changed to reflect third line saying " Medical results received"

Once I presss "In Process" It takes to another screen with following three lines

Not sure, if results are accepted..

Can anybody suggest me what does it mean to ask for finger prints of my mom only and not for dad by CPP-O? My parents just did their medicals two weeks ago?

Another advice, if CIC have asked for fingerprints for your mom then do not send dad's along with your mom. I made that mistake that I sent request for fingerprinting clearance for both my parents whereas CIC asked only for fingerprints only for my dad. It confused RCMP and they delayed processing fingerprints for quite sometime.

I did send Passport pages, Ration card, my birth certificate to show them as husband and wife but still got the marriage certificate request. Looks like the agent on my file is 'by the book'!
Thanks for the suggesiton about Indian consulate...I will check that out.
Can you tell me how to get the affidavit made in India?

"Your application has reached the final stage of processing. In order for your visa to be issued, you must now submit the following documents to the attention of the Embassy of Canada, Immigration Section, Av. Francisco de Miranda c/Av. Sur Altamira, Caracas 1060-A, Venezuela:
- Your passport

You must bring these documents to the Caracas Visa Office between 1:00pm and 2:00pm, from Monday to Thursday. If you are unable to come in person, you may send the documents by FEDEX with a pre-paid envelope and a FEDEX account number (9 digits).

You have 30 days from the date of this letter to submit this documentation. If it is not received within this time, we will assume that you are no longer interested and close the file.

Are there any applicants who sent complete documents to Mississauga in July/August 2012 ??

I sent on July 11, 2012 but no acknowledgement yet or approval. Still waiting. It's strange how some got aor so quickly from mississauga whereas some got nothing.

Call Centre agents are not even bothering to ask for client id to check for updates, they just want to ask to just wait and wait. Some are quite rude after we hold for half an hour!

Yes i saw same line with 9 august 2012 letter has been sent i am worried about the letter
