I think that you should write directly to LVO and ask about the file. My friend send also her mother to canadian embassy and they told that didn't receive yet the boxes from Ottawa ( AOR Mississauga received in February). No news since.

P.S Mind you, this is only the case where folks are in Canada ( visiting ), not for the rest. It will still go to LVO for passport stamping

It is clear that if parent is not in Canada then File will Transfer to LVO just to Stamp the visa. CPP-Ottawa has own quota. So it will definitely a separate queue form those file transfer to LVO which might further slow down LVO applicant process.

LVO won't do anything but either way, this case of Seattle passport is only if the folks are in Canada. PP stamping has to be done via LVO, ( especially in India as passports cannot be mailed across borders ) Ottawa was clearing the back log for LVO by asking PCC and Meds, it has to go to LVO ultimately and dunno what queue they get in once there

The best thing is to send a copy of that letter to your local news paper, also your area local MP, Foreign minister, and to the Prime Minister. I will also support in this matter...

LOL, Jason K and Harper ( as politicians ) will say, we are doing it for the rest of your countrymen sooner - so gather them and we will make it equal. you trust folks will join in??

Your parents' visa will be stamped this year 5561 files were in the queue by Dec. 31, 2011. Your passport was sent in in January. The quote of 2012 for that LVO is 6000. Your parents will catch the last train this year.
